Itinerary
Complete your visit to Chester with a relaxing half an hour cruise along the tranquil River Dee. From the Groves you will sail upstream, past Grosvenor Park and the Earl’s Eye, following the long sweep of the ‘Meadows’ to the city limits before returning again.

The cruise takes in some beautiful and interesting riverside properties, whilst providing an opportunity to admire the city skyline and look out for wildlife including swans, cormorants and kingfishers.

As you enjoy the informative, sightseeing commentary on-board you will learn interesting facts about the fascinating history of Chester. You can even enjoy a tea or coffee, cold beer or glass of wine from the bar (own expense) as you enjoy your cruise. A river tour of Chester is perfect for a quiet outing.

A fun little cruise

A short but fun cruise up the river Dee. A lovely boat, which offers refreshments on board, with very friendly staff. The commentary was very informative and fun. Beautiful views up and down the river. I would recommend it to anybody

Enjoyable trip in the sunshine

The warm weather made this a very enjoyable trip down the River Dee, you can get a discount on the open top hop on hop off bus with a combined ticket bought on the boat. Both good ways to site see in Chester.
