Whitewater Rafting on Toby Creek
With choppy waters cascading down from high alpine glaciers above, Toby Creek offers the ideal conditions for white-water rafting adventure. On this wet and wild tour, paddle and ride through the river’s swirling rapids and winding twists and turns with your guide—with all safety equipment included. Embrace outdoor adventure in Canada, and enjoy sweeping views over the beautiful Rockies scenery from the water.
What to Expect
Toby Creek is home to spectacular views and offers thrilling whitewater rafting and family fun. This 2-hour trip is ideal for the young – and the young at heart – and this river is great for first timers, or seasoned whitewater rafting veterans. The rapids are rated from Class One (moving water) to Class Six (waterfalls). The Toby Creek whitewater rapids are 25% Class One, 50% Class Two, and 25% Class Three.

Meet at Panorama Mountain Village, located just 40 minutes from both Fairmont and Radium Hot Springs and 20 minutes from Invermere. Please arrive 20-minutes prior to the departure time.

A bus will drive you to the start of the trip, where you'll be provided with a personal flotation device, wet suits, spray jackets, helmets, river shoes, and changes rooms. Once you're all geared up, listen to a safety speech from your licensed professional river guide.

The Toby Creek is a great first time rafting experience for kids 8 years and older.

Hi Johnny! Thanks for your review. We're glad you enjoyed what Toby Creek has to offer, however, if you're after bigger rapids and more splashes I would definitely suggest you get out on the Kicking Horse River next time you're out this way! :)
