Overview
Drive a snowmobile up Blackcomb Mountain on a 3-hour evening adventure to Crystal Hut, where you’ll have sweeping views of the Whistler Valley at sunset. Climb 6,000 feet (1,829 meters) in elevation, winding through the trees with an experienced snowmobile guide, and then break for a warming treat in a cozy log cabin. This 3-hour tour includes a short snowmobile training, and all the cold-weather gear you need to explore.
What to Expect
Make your way to the Carleton Lodge in Whistler Village to check in 30 minutes prior to departure. Meet a snowmobile guide for the 5- to 10-minute trip to the base of Blackcomb Mountain, where you’ll be fitted with a full-face helmet and goggles, with the option to use gloves, boots, snow pants, and jackets.

Start with a short briefing on snowmobile operation and safety, then start your engine for the climb to Crystal Hut, a cozy cabin that looks out across the Coast Mountain Range, Whistler Valley, and thick stands of evergreen trees set off by deep snow.

Settle in and warm up with something hot, watching as alpenglow tints the snowy mountains a delicate pink, and the sun sinks beneath the snowy skyline. When you’re ready to hop back on the snowmobile, begin the return trip to the base of Blackcomb Mountain, where this tour concludes.

Great Excursion! Super Fun!

This excursion is top notch. To be able to drive snowmobiles up Blackcomb mountain up to the Crystal hut after it closes was truly a memorable experience. The staff at Canadian Wilderness Adventures were fantastic. We will definitely use them again in the future!

Sunset Snowmobile Cruise

Excellent equipment including jackets, ski pants, etc and helmets, of course. Modern snowmobiles had good power and were easy to operate. Our guide was Dan the Man (a real pro!) and he carefully explained how everything worked and ensured we were comfortable with our machines....More

Dalton did a great job

We booked a snowmobile tour on a recent trip to Whistler and we had a great time. Trails were in excellent shape and the tour took us through a variety of back country areas with stunning views.
