About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- skoobadive0 contributionsFriendly staff, beautiful rideIt was a beautiful day, our guide Sasha was laid back, but serious regarding safety. He was knowledgeable and made everyone feel comfortable from the beginning. The staff at the lodge were all very welcoming and gave us all friendly, top notch service. If you are a beginner, this is the ride for you.Written 18 March 2024
- Laurie L0 contributionsAn experience of a lifetime! We did the wilderness run as a group of 3. Andrew and Tammy made sure we were provided with an unforgettable experience. The tour was absolutely excellent from start at Whistler Village to the end of our ride. We were able to experience unimaginable views while experiencing very well groomed trails. We brought our own snow gear but it’s not needed they have plenty of suitable gear for all.Written 17 March 2024
- Curious6391240 contributionsFun and Safe for First TimersCalum kept us safe while teaching us how to drive a snowmobile. Calum was not only informative but also made our time on the tour fun. My husband and I highly recommend this tour for people who have never driven a snowmobile.Written 16 March 2024
- M7048CNjoep0 contributionsStunning & Scenic Mountain Snow Mobile TourWhat an incredible trip! I have been on several snow mobile tours and this one was definitely top! All of the staff were fantastic from the starts. Our bus driver was hilarious and had a fun dog named banjo who rode up with us. Our guide Kyle was super personable and incredibly knowledgeable. He was also very patient as the snow was very deep and we had a propensity for getting our snow mobiles stuck in snow banks, and Kyle was always there to rescue us! The breakfast they cooked up for us at a magical mountain top log cabin was excellent and tasty and definitely needed after some good riding up the mountain. After breakfast we bombed around on a frozen lake and got to really open up the machines and I can tell you these snow mobiles are some of the most powerful I’ve ever been on! Overall amazing experience and would absolutely recommend.Written 15 March 2024

- J6741LSshanef0 contributionsYukon Breakfast tourGreat experience on the Yukon breakfast tour. We had Brock as our guide for the morning. His seamless and thorough introduction as well as his quick witted humour and charm throughout the tour showed me that he was very experienced and that we were in safe hands. Thanks Brock!! Also, a special mention for our driver on the morning, Conor. Conor was full of great background information and stories of the history of whistler as we made our way out to the Callaghan to prepare for our tour. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting whistler. The whole team was great, and the experience was incredible.Written 14 March 2024

The guides and all staff were welcoming, personable, and competent (thank you Connor for your professionalism). This experience was quite thrilling, there is risk involved.Written 14 March 2024

- RuffleAdventures0 contributionsSomething fun and new to try!I had a great time! My family was skiing and I wanted to try something different, so I booked this as a 1st timer. I went solo, but the group all got along great. There was one other person solo and a few small families. Although I had never used snowshoes before, everything felt pretty easy overall. It was really pretty in the woods, surrounded by snow. I would snowshoe again, but next time look for something a little more advanced. I would definitely recommend this for something fun to do when you don't want to ski. I enjoyed it!Written 13 March 2024
- kelvindobson0 contributionskelvindobsonOverall the experience was good. Was disappointed about the mixes ability, the group should have been split into those who have done it before and those who havent. I would have liked a bit of playtime rather than just going up the mountain eating and coming down the mountain.Written 13 March 2024
- M260WGscottb0 contributionsYukon Breakfast TourWe did the Yukon Breakfast Tour and it was amazing. It is definitely geared toward new riders BUT my fiancé and I fairly experienced and had an absolute blast. Big shout out to our guide Conor, he took the time to make sure new riders were confident on the machines before going up. The breakfast was also incredible.Written 12 March 2024
- 302adrienneh0 contributionsSnowmobiling through wonderland!Admittedly we had fab weather for our snowmobile trip but is was so beautiful. All the staff at CW were so helpful from the front desk guys to the instructors who took us up the hill. It was our first time (my husband said he'd waited 50 years to do it) and we were not disappointed. It was so much fun, scenery was fantastic and the tuition for beginners was really clear. Thank you!Written 12 March 2024
- Kernowspot0 contributionsGreat trip ruined by allowing riders with significantly mixed ability on it.Tammy was great it was beautiful to ride through the forest. Unfortunately a rider was booked onto the tour who was obviously neither an ‘adventurous beginner’ nor ‘intermediate’ snowmobile rider which limited our enjoyment. Despite Tammy’s best efforts to remedy the situation we were stuck for the duration of our trip behind a rider who was not willing to go faster than about 10mph. Tammy called for assistance (after she had already offloaded a pillion rider) to help the struggling rider but no assistance came - was this safe? The mountain explorer is marketed as an ‘adventurous’ beginner trip - so from the outset to allow a rider to participate who does not even regularly drive whilst others in the group had previous snowmobile experience was not appropriate as it was clear this person should have been booked on the Callaghan trip for first time riders and families. At the end of the trip I had to make a complaint back at the operations centre. A pity a more proactive approach was not offered. It was galling to be told this was a beginners trip when clearly there is a difference between a beginner and a complete novice! Steps were made to resolve this satisfactorily - I am waiting to see this will happen as promised..watch this space. The issue is there is not enough effort in understanding levels of riders and allocating them to the appropriate trip….this then can significantly limit enjoyment of others.Written 12 March 2024
- Kaustub S0 contributionsGreat tour with ZoeyAmazing tour with Zoey! It was my first time snow shoeing , and I was blown away. I had bad knees but the tour was a great level. We stayed on the trail and sometimes went off trail just when the trail got too easy. The views are amazing, and pictures don’t do it justice. Just do it. Highly recommendWritten 8 March 2024

My friend and I were really interested in booking an ATV tour for our short stay in whistler. We lucked out and had the most amazing experience with Sean. We ended up getting a private tour and he was so patient with us, as we took photos and learned how to ATV. He really helped both of us feel confident while adventuring on the ATV, and really made the experience incredible. I would 100% recommend this company as well as Sean to anyone who ever goes to whistler. The pick up and drop off also was super convenient as we were staying in the whistler village!

The tour exceeded expectations, even on a wet day. We had perfect conditions for splashing through puddles and climbing up mountain trails.
Our guide Maire was so lovely, she had lots of local knowledge and fun native stories about the ecology.
Would definitely recommend this trip if you're looking for a fun and exciting mountain adventure.

Decided to go on a Buggy Ride with friends. Tyler and Alex took us on an awesome tour with breathtaking views. We were able to feed Whiskeyjacks, bomb around the mountain and get a little wet going through water. Such a good time! Highly recommended!

Trip was lots of fun. Our guide Callum was really cool and did an amazing job dealing with some obnoxious people on our tour and balancing everyone's personalities. He was well equipped with cool facts regarding Whistler, and was truly the perfect guide! We will definitely be coming back for the snowmobile tour when we are here in the winter.

Had a wicked day out on the quad bikes with our knowledgable guides Dan and Carl. Our big group loved ripping about the Callaghan valley, feeling like we were in safe hands. Jess at the front desk was also very helpful with helping book a big group of 14 of us.

I am addicted and will do all my future adventures with this company every time I am in Whistler.
The Staff where so casual and chill. Our Guide Michelle was patient, fun, funny and very knowledgeable I felt safe the whole time.
I forgot my phone on the bus and did not realize for a while. Went to the office and the staff at the office radioed Michelle and she was kind enough to bring it to me. This was on her own time and all the staff at the office hung out while we waited after there long day of work. This stuff doesn't happen anymore they didn't need to wait. They had been closed for over an hour and should have been long done with the work day and off enjoying their own time but they didn't mind and I just think that speaks volumes of the company and the employees.
Thank you to Michelle, Ron, Anna, and another lovely girl that I need to apologize to for not remembering her name. I am old sorry :)

We had the BEST time on this tour! It was pouring rain and chilly but we sucked it up and went anyway. I was nervous as I had never been on an ATV before but our guide Amanda was exceptional! She instilled a lot of confidence and I felt extremely comfortable with her. The tour itself was full of excitement and beautiful surroundings. What a great place to work in everyday! Again, Amanda was great! We also enjoyed the selfies😜 she took along the way on my husband’s phone😂! I was also thrilled to see that it was mainly young women running the show! Thanks to all the team involved!!!

We went up Callaghan mountain on the Call of the Wild tour with our guide Anna and it was so much fun! Despite it pouring rain, we actually had a blast and it just added to the “muddy, off-road experience”. They have all the rain gear and it really works!
I have off road dirt biking experience and did not find it too slow or boring!
Only suggestion would be to bring waterproof gloves or a shell for their mitts.
Thanks again Anna - looking forward to a repeat!

Wow, what a thrill! We did the ATV tour last week and it was a blast! Our guide James was the best. He took the time to go over everything and then took us on some awesome and gnarly trails. We got to stop for some incredible pictures. James even grabbed each of our phones from us to take videos as we rode and splashed through the creek. It was so much fun.
Canadian Wilderness Adventures is a class act and I can't wait to go back someday and take the snowmobile tour and I will definitely request that James be our guide.
Give them a try and ask for James....you won't regret it.

The tour from start to finish was fantastic. From the very friendly helpful girls in the office who we booked the tour through, to our guide, Nate, and everyone we met at the base camp.
I definitely felt like we got good value for money (unlike another ATV tour I did previously with a different company), and got to explore some great terrain. Nate was a grest guide, very informative and experienced. Would highly recommend.
