      Great service with a smile
We rented an E bike and a manual bike to tour Stanley Park. The staff were so helpful and really friendly. Both bikes were great and not a squeak between them. Would highly recommend this company.

      Fantastic Stanley Park Tour
We had a great tour with Greg, so much knowledge and titbits he was able to offer every step of the way. We learnt a lot about Vancouver, Stanley Park and the different living creatures inside the park coupled with solid Canadian humor. Highly recommend.

Great views! First time biking at Stanley park and I don’t regret it it was fun, and it wasn’t too difficult for my sister as well.

Excellent ride through an amazing city
A fantastic bike ride. Greg was an excellent guide, taking us through so many areas and had so much knowledge. He managed to keep a group of 10 together and kept everyone fully engaged from a moody 17 year old to a hung over dad (me). A really great day out and got to see the real heart of Vancouver. Thank you Greg and city cycles.

      The great explore 🚲
This is a great tour to do early on in your stay in Vancouver to get your bearings and understand the different areas and history of the town. Our guide Marion was very knowledgeable and provided information on history, flora and wildlife. It’s a relatively flat cycle (just a couple of small hills that you can choose to walk up) and there is a lot of stop/start, so suitable for all levels. Definitely helped us understand the key places to spend more time at over the coming days, during our stay.

      Thank you Greg!
This was a brilliant way to explore such a fantastic city. We were lucky enough to have Greg, our guide, all to ourselves. Greg was friendly, sensitive to our family’s needs (we had our autistic daughter with us who tends to interrupt with lots of questions!) and had lots of stories and facts which held our interest all day. Would recommend this tour to anyone looking to get to know Vancouver’s history and culture whilst making the most of Vancouver’s cycle friendly paths and routes. A real highlight of our trip!

      One Vancouver to Another
Phenomenal, first-hand tour of this amazing city. Greg and the staff were totally focused on the safety, efficiency, and fun of riding through the city and Stanley Park. Greg made the guests feel at home with a steady commentary on the environment and history of the area, and we felt like he was sharing the favorite parts of his home with us.

      Cloudy day but SUNNY tour!!
A cloudy and partial rainy day made bright by this tour. Greg and his magic pants were simply amazing, personal, and genuine. Thank you Greg for sharing your city with us. We had a 5 hour private tour for 4 and enjoyed everything about it. I can not think of a better way to visit Vancouver!

We had an amazing time. Greg was knowledgeable, accommodating and fun to be with. It’s not easy to deal with a group of 3 generations. We loved it!

The best way to see the city
Wow. What a fantastic tour and an amazing way to see Vancouver. Our guide was Greg who was an absolute goldmine of information as we wheeled around this beautiful city. He made the place come alive with his historical knowledge and anecdotes. The pace was very gentle with loads of stops and a full 45 minutes for lunch at Granville Island. Greg made sure we were all together throughout. 90% of the tour is on very well maintained cycle paths. Truly a great way to see the city. I’d give it ten stars if Tripadvisor allowed.

      Great way to explore Vancouver
This was a great way to explore the city. With hindsight I wish I'd done the tour earlier on in my stay in Vancouver rather than towards the end and then rented out a bike on a later day to explore the city further.

There were 5 friends who thought it was a good idea when booking these rides mamy months ago. As the trip got nearer the trepidation started to build. I (the author) being the eldest (and most unfit) at 64 did not really comprehend what was expected of me throughout the tour. On arrival at the cycle shop we met Mark, he was excellent putting everyone's mind at ease, he informed us of his plan for the day, he also concentrated on my wife, who hadnt ridden a bike for some 40 years and was more worried than myself on the upcoming tour. Mark made it his primary role in looking after my wife (62) and the tour started. Vancouver has the best cycle lanes in the world, (my opinion based on the only cycle lanes i have ridden on) the controls on the bikes were 'simple' enough to use, Mark did explain the controls at the start of the trip and during the frequent stops Mark reinforced these explanations whilst also pointing out the local tourist spots in detail. Mark obviously loves his City of Vancuver as we toured both the City and the shoreline pointing out historical facts and places of interest to the group. The stops along the tour were many and varied, our group members later remarking that the four hours flew past without the realisation of the distance covered. Mark made the tour. Vancuver made the tour, we thank you both, especially Mark, who knows he may have contributed to my decision to purchase an enviro bike when we get back to the UK

If you have a short stay only - we’d recommend this as a great way to gain a quick insight into Vancouver. If you have a few days in this city - we’d recommend this as a great preliminary way to gain an insight into Vancouver and providing some background for further exploration.

Lana was an excellent guide shepherding us along the safe bike paths and then through Stanley Park and beyond. Her dialogue at the various places of interest were informative and delivered with passion and empathy. Highly recommended.

This was an amazing tour of the city, even for me who has lived here for a few months. Our guide was German, who was very knowledgeable about the history of the city, he also gave us great tips about restaurants and places to visit. It was my first time on an Ebike but German (and the rest of the group) were very gracious in teaching me the ropes and looking out so we all stayed safe and enjoyed the afternoon. I would highly recommend it if you are looking to get familiar with Vancouver, whether here for a short visit or a long-term stay.

Great tour. We saw a lot of the city and with barely any effort because the electric bikes are so easy to ride (even up the steep hills in Stanley Park). Greg was an engaging tour guide who shared lots of interesting information about the city.

My wife and I took this tour with our incredible guide Paulo in July. Can’t say enough positives about what we learned, the measured pace of the trip, and the insight Paolo shared both during and even after the ride (he sent us a personalized email summarizing what we saw and other helpful travel/history tips). In contrast to another ebike tour we took later that week (from another company in a different city), this one utilized top-shelf bikes and brought forth a depth of the city that we really enjoyed. As my review title says - “just book it’…. You won’t be disappointed.

Our guide, Peter, was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and fun. He included each guest’s personal interests in what was talked about. We had amazing views and learned a ton about the history of Vancouver. It was paced perfectly between riding and stopping to take in a view or learn some more about the city. He made sure we got to know one another in the group, which made the whole experience better. We took particular delight in the fact that our 18 year old son is majoring in urban studies in college this fall and Peter has been an urban designer for 20 years. He went out of way to point out particular facts or points of interest in regard to city planning. Vancouver is a very well planned out city and that’s the reason our son wanted to come here for his graduation present. Peter even had him give an explanation of Vancouverism to the group. After the tour, he welcomed us to stay and learn more if we wanted to. A few people had to leave for a reservation, but the rest of us stayed at the shop longer to hear more stories. He and some of the other staff gave each of us personalized restaurant recommendations. They even marked all the places on one of their paper maps so we could find them more easily. My husband and son tried out the ramen place he recommended and said it was the best. The whole thing exceeded our expectations and I recommend this tour as the first thing you do when you get to Vancouver.

We booked believing the bikes were full electric. One of our four person group had a bad leg and decided he could not peddle an electric assist bike. He was told that no refund would be offered. One other lady had to abort the excursion for the same reason. If you cannot peddle a standard bike for a mile or two, do not book this tour.

My wife and I continued on the tour with Nick, our guide. The tour was excellent, the bikes easy to peddle, and we felt the electric assist was more that needed for the route. In fact we hardly used to power assist at all. There was only one hill were it was actually useful. Nick was an excellent guide and offered tremendous history and cultural background at each stop along the tour. The tour had great places to take photos and learn about the city. Highly recommend taking this tour but you need yo be reasonably fit.

I shared my day with amazing people and our great guide tour Paulo, who gave us an incredible tour around Stanley Park, the beaches, and the most emblematic neighborhoods and streets in Vancouver. Is a very knowledgeable guide who provided us interesting information about the history of the city, its streets, and its architecture. Clearly, it was a fun and unforgettable day.

My wife and I did this tour in early September 2022. First off all the staff at Cycle City were friendly and helpful. My wife hadn’t ridden since childhood so we went done to the shop (start point) two hours early for her to get in some practice. Not only did the guys jump at the chance to help, they allowed to borrow the bike and ride around as long as wanted until she was comfortable, even giving helpful guidance and tips. Two hours later we were with the group, maneuvering traffic etc., like a pro, made somewhat easy by the GREAT bike lanes, with their own traffic lights and developed Vancouver cycling culture. The word Epic aptly describes this ride, we rode for 10.5 miles and saw, what we thought was every corner of Vancouver, hitting all the essential spot, Stanley Park, Gastowne, Waterfront, Yaletown, just ti name a few. The EV Bikes made even the novice look like a pro on the hills, trust me on this. Sarvesh and team at Cycle City, thanks for making our 1st trip to Vancouver BC epic and memorable.

The electric bike tour of Vancouver that we undertook in June 2023 was a great success. The guide who accompanied us provided a detailed and knowledgeable commentary on the history and current highlights of the city. He also was very proficient at guiding all us ebike riders in the group (12) around a route that included residential streets, Stanley park and commercial presincts. The ebikes were easy to use and well maintained. Our only reservation was that there were quite a few times when we could not hear the speech of the guide because he was too far away or there was back ground noise such as thew noise from float plane radial engines on take off. We suggest that the guide be equiped with a personal l;od speaker.
