Vancouver Secrets of Stanley Park Walking Tour

Overview

See Stanley Park in a way few tourists ever get to see it! This narrated walking tour of one of Vancouver’s best loved spots will give you a look at secluded paths, an iconic totem pole, weird and wonderful public art, tragic tales from history, and a visit to what remains of a village that was almost lost to the passage of time.

What to Expect

Meet your guide and storyteller for the afternoon outside the Vancouver Aquarium, and get ready to learn the secrets of Stanley Park. Take a hidden path to the seawall where you’ll be treated to views of Coal Harbour and hear the chilling tale of Deadman’s Island.

A quick break will give you time to see authentic First Nations totem poles before returning to the secret side of the park. Tales of a forgotten cemetery, a lost village, and Stanley Park’s most notorious crime compete for interest with the public art you pass as you stroll past centuries old trees that have grown in the park since the time before Captain Vancouver sailed up the Burrard Inlet.

Return 2.5 hours later to your starting point having seen a part of Vancouver even locals may have missed.
