We booked our snowshoeing with White Mountain based upon reviews we saw here. Under the careful guidance of Marc C., we snow shoed from the top of the Great Divide ski lift across the Sunshine Meadows and down to the Sunshine Village Gondola - about 3 miles. The scenery was

We can't say enough good about this trip. We were a little hesitant because we didn't know what to expect, but our guide Tara was so professional and really put everyone at ease. It was work, but it was such a wonderful experience on a truly blue-sky day. I told Tara I was going

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for Jess and Chris. Though snowshoeing is not really an adrenaline sport, I hear again and again that just being out in this beautiful area in such deep snow brings out the joy of being a kid again.

Went on the Snowshoeing on Top of the World with May and it was spectacular! May was an amazing guide and had lots of great insight into the local cultures and ecosystem. There was extra gear in case anyone needed anything, and the whole expedition was well organized.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate you taking them time to share your feedback, and the advice regarding how to prepare. This program does take you up to 7500 feet and explores some very real backcountry terrain. With this comes a broad range of potential weather conditions. Goggles and a face mask (I like to use a 'buff', which is a light, inexpensive stretchy tube that can be stuffed easily into any pocket, and can be worn a number of ways to keep your head, neck, face or all of the above warm. Goggles on windy or snowy days are a great idea if you have them. Sunscreen becomes especially important as winter advances into spring and the sun gains more power.
