Buggy Tour in Playa del Carmen with Cenote Swim and Mayan Village Visit
From US$98.00
Discovering popular Playa del Carmen’s less touristy attractions can be difficult. On this unique tour, travel the town by buggy and explore the nearby jungle, gaining insight into the Mayan culture with a visit to a local village. Sightsee in style with your small group and receive your guide’s focused attention. Forget the stress of locating the base in the busy city with hotel pick-up and drop off included.
What to Expect

Be collected from your hotel in Playa del Carmen and travel to the centrally located buggy base in the city. Meet your guide and receive a safety briefing regarding your buggy. When completed, don your bandana and goggles, grab your water and snack (all included), and head off in your 2-seat buggy to discover Playa del Carmen.

After a 3 mile ride through the less touristy parts of the city, arrive to the jungle. Explore along jungle tracks and head toward one of the underground cenotes, where you can hop off and enjoy a refreshing dip in its fresh water. Then, head to a local Mayan village and meet some of the community. Head back to base and at the end of your adventure, relax as you’re dropped back to your hotel.

Highly recommend

Best excursion by far. Great way to see beyond the tourist side of things. Well run by the kind and patient guides. Seeing the impoverished village made a lasting impact on my 12 year old son. Book this buggy tour you will not be disappointed.

Can’t quite remember but I’d say a good 5 hours. We left around 9:30 in the morning and came back a little after 4.
