Overview
Make the most of limited time and explore one of Cozumel’s most captivating coral reefs with a guide. Descend to depths of 100 feet (30 meters) and cruise along the ocean floor in the air-conditioned comfort of an Atlantis Submarine without getting wet. On this reef tour, you’ll learn about the marine ecosystem and see parts of the reef that were previously only accessible to scuba divers.
What to Expect
Meet your group at a central location at a designated morning or afternoon departure time. After a short ferry ride along the Cozumel coastline, you'll arrive at your dive site and board your submarine.
Descend 100 feet (30 meters) below the surface and cruise along the ocean floor at Chankanaab Park, an environmentally protected marine park. The submarine’s large circular windows make it easy to view the reef and see a dazzling variety of colorful coral formations, tropical fish, and marine life.
Throughout the deep-sea voyage, your guide shares interesting facts about the reef and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and take photos. After your guided reef tour, board another ferry and cruise back to the Atlantis Retail Store to end your tour.

Good experience but could be better~

When we went, there were about 34 people on the tour so it was a bit crowded even though it is supposed to hold more. If you can go when there are less people, that would be better so you could look out both sides...More

If you're lucky enough to get on the right side of the boat you could get a good look at the reefs, fish, etc. Unfortunately we happened to get the wrong side and saw a lot of sand I thought surely they would turn around so both...More

There is a height restriction but I don't remember what it was. 36 or 40 inches I believe. I don't know about cost. Best to go to their web site for your answers. Sorry.

Actually under the water was a little over 40 minutes for us. The whole trip was close to 3 hours. It seemed like plenty of time to me.
