Plan to sit on a bus for a long time.
If you are traveling from Cancun prepare yourself for 9 hours of sitting on a bus. Cochin Itzá was remarkable and I loved seeing it in real life. Our guide provided a lot of interesting information and was quite informative. The cenote was great but packed and we didn’t get nearly enough time to enjoy it. The town was ok, the buffet had delicious food and good service, but again, not enough time because the drive from Cancun including an hour backup due to the toll made this an incredibly long day of sitting peppered with short experiences. I’m glad I got to see Xichen Itza and swim in a cenote but would have picked a different tour if I’d known it was such a long time traveling.

      Horrible service. Bad trip
The bus was dirty. AC was "busted" and the guide barely spoke English and was rude. I would never wish this trip on my worst enemy

Awesome tour! Well worth the price.
Amazing and engaging tour! Easy to find the pick up location. Wish there was more time built in to spend on the Valladolid part of the tour since it is so beautiful and there are many street vendors to buy different foods from. Other than that, it was great seeing one of the 7 wonders of the world and a beautiful cenote tour!

      Great tour with great guides
Excellent tour. Shout-out to David, Rhett and Christian for the great day. Very educational explanation about the Maya culture and history in English and Spanish, they know what they are talking about. Amazing sights (souvenir area to support Maya foundation, lunch, Chichen Itza, Cenote and finally Valladolid). The first hours are a bit promotion heavy, but the advertised souvenirs are very nice and original and support good causes. All in all a solid tour to visit the aforementioned locations!

Such an awful day! Avoid this tour/the places and company!
Many years ago I saw a travel article and it had Las Coloradas in it and I thought when I eventually go to Mexico I will see that. It really isn't worth the journey from Cancun and the majority of the day was awful! This tour company are horrific. We wasted hours upon hours picking people up and dropping them off even though we went past Cancun on the way to other areas. A competent company would get other minibuses and all turn join at a central location and transport people back to hotels in same way. Breakfast wasn't even breakfast food. Meat and Cheese sandwich! I don't really eat meat and even if I did I wouldn't of eaten it due to the salad which would of been washed in dirty Water! Las Coloradas, waste of time of you speak English, yes we had 2 guides one English speaking and one Spanish speaking and ours was just taking photos for people and saying nothing. The Spanish speaking one was telling people about all sorts! The Rio Lagartos bit was a waste of time and we had to wade through Animal excrement to allegedly "See" the Flamingos. We could of got alot closer but didn't. I cut my foot on something in the 💩because we were told to not even wear our flipflops. Boat driver winding up the wild birds who were expecting food and he just kept flipping pretending his phone was food! Also he wound up wild Crocodiles with sticks! Just Cruel! Our tour guide literally kicked off with me in a minibus full of people because all I wanted in the restaurant for lunch was Chips as I don't eat much meat and wouldn't eat a salad in Mexico. Tbh that restaurant was the highlight of an awful day, shame they don't have a page for me to review. The Crocodile place seemed ok at first. Man holding 2 small Crocs how didn't look distressed and then a lady comes out with a tiny bit bigger one and the poor soul had their mouth taped closed! I wouldn't of gone to this place if it wasn't part of the awful day. Then we walk to the huge ones and tourists feed them, after the poor Croc has been battered with a stick countless times as it wasn't performing for the crowd! The poor thing can't help not being hungry. Horrible exploitive, abusive uncivil place to wrap off a wasted day where you get abused for saying your meal preference! Avoid!!

      Cancun fun
Jamie/ Hyman Was THE BEST guide we could have gotten. He was so patient, knowledgeable in the activities, and personable. I was thankful for him when I was struggling on the zip lines. I wish he would have been able to zip line the entire time with our group, it would have been so much for fun and helpful. This man deserves a raise!!

Beautiful trip, amazing places and friendly staff
This trip was amazing. Was able to see beautiful pink lake and Flamingoes. The pink lake was really gorgeous and it was actually pink! We had a fun boat trip where we saw crocodiles. We had lunch at a local restaurant, it was fresh and tasty. Our guide was very friendly and nice. It was a long trip so I was skeptical at the beginning but it is worth it. You get to see so many things and the drive around the local area is also very refreshing. I highly recommend it. All of my family members enjoyed it.

Our instructor O was extremely funny and made sure we had a blast!! Please note the zip lines are very low and a short ride, and the ATV Was Not a thrill the drive was very slow and we went in the same circle, but the cenotes were a blast!

Everything is great. Best day-trip from Cancun. Expect to spend a very long time in the van, that is inevitable unless you choose a private trip.

      Good ride
First time in Xcaret. The bus was ok and On time. They contacted me vía WhatsApp the day before to confirm pick up point and time. Xcaret was awesome. Buffete was good. Show was really good. What would I improve? The day before the trip, via WhatsApp, they asked us to print a boarding pass they had sent us. They said it was mandatory to print, so we had to go around the city looking for a place to print. The next day when we arrived at the meeting point, they guy just looked at it and gave it back. It was a waste of time and we just generated garbage. On the bus they explained us very well how xcaret works, the best places, etc. The only bad things is that he lied about the paid experiences and walking time. He said we could only book experiences at the entrance, and if we didn't, we would need to walking from the beach to the entrance 1:30 hours. So we booked some stuff based on what he said. The truth is: you can book anywhere, and the walking time from the beach to the entrance is 10 to 15 min.

      Recommended 100%
I just booked 2 tours with NGM Caribe Tours, with WILLIAM and LUIS from the Bsea Cancun Plaza hotel office, they were very professional and kind. I went to Chichen Itza and Xcaret park + show. Great organization, punctual bus tour, etc. I definitely recommend it! These will be some of my best vacation memories for sure. 🙂🇲🇽☀️

I went on an excursion to this park, which boasted many water activities and swimming. The snorkeling was basically just looking into murky water and seeing the one or two fish that were visible. There was no beach, as the little span of water they had was all coral. There was an “infinity pool” but it was packed tight with children and parents. The ride to Royal Garrafon was by ferry which promised a “light breakfast and open bar”. There was no breakfast, and the “open bar” was beer and juice. There was a woman walking around selling M&Ms and Pringle’s, which was infuriating by that point. This excursion costs $145 pp and was a total waste of an entire day and money. The park is less than a half mile long, and there isn’t much to do to pass the time. If you’re looking for a natural water park that’s worth the money, go to Xel-Ha. It’s gorgeous and you’ll have a great time! I do want to say that the staff was the only wonderful thing about this park. Unfortunately, nothing was going to save the day.
