Puerto Vallarta Outdoor Adventure Tour
US$119.00
Overview
Combine some of Puerto Vallarta’s most adventurous experiences for a full day of exploring: ride a speedboat to a hidden beach, go 4-wheeling, hop a mule into the forest, zipline from tree to tree, and rappel down a waterfall. Since this adventure tour takes you from the ocean to the jungle and the Sierra Madre Mountains, it’s a great way to experience Puerto Vallarta’s varied landscapes through high-energy fun.
What to Expect
Make your way to a central location in Puerto Vallarta, then start the day with a speedboat trip to Boca de Tomatlan, a secluded, jungle-fringed beach on the edge of Banderas Bay.

Trade the speedboat for a 4WD Unimog and then go off road as you climb to 2,000 feet (610 meters) above sea level, arriving at a base camp that’s deep in the Sierra Madre Mountains. From there, ride a mule higher and further into the subtropical forest, where you’ll find a network of ziplines 250 feet (76 meters) above the forest floor.

Soar through the canopy and take on a zipline that’s almost 1,000 feet (305 meters), among the longest and highest in Mexico. Next, continue through the jungle to rappel a waterfall, cross suspension bridges, and splash through a gushing river. After a snack at the base camp, this tour concludes with drop-off at the original departure point.

ONE OF THE BEST ADVENTURES, EVER!!!!!

This is a phenomenal adventure set in the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains!!! The boat ride to the excursion sight was beautifully scenic, and the staff was incredibly friendly and funny! Once we arrived, we knew we had chosen a fabulous adventure! My FAVORITE staff member...More

Exhilarating, Fear-Conquering, Adventure of a lifetime.

This adventure is set high in the misty mountains south of Puerto Vallarta. From the second you’re picked up dockside, the staff attention to your fun and safety is laudable. You’re whisked past the green grandeur of Los Arcos de Mismaloya as dolphins jump off...More

This tour was absolutely amazing! You take a boat ride to the island and you transport to a bus which takes you up to the park. Once you get to the park you are greeted by amazing staff who gear you up and give you...More

Honeymoon Highlight! Definitely recommend!

Outdoor Adventure was our favorite activity on our holiday! Better than swimming with dolphins/sea lions! Better than the Sea Safari! I had never done zip-lining before and felt exceptionally safe and we'll prepared. Christina did not want to do the rappelling but was able to...More

We were on a Holland America Cruise and took the tour. We booked it on our cruise ship. It is well worth the time and expense, but is intense. My sister and I were 70 and 71 when we took the tour. You can do it too!

No swimming but you will get wet. When you are in the small lagoons you are always tied to a rope and a guide always has control. There are also 2 large water slides so if you are afraid of the water, this might not be for... More

Not long. I believe it was 25 min. Took longer to take the open air jeep to get to the beginning of the zip line site as we had to wait for others taking the tour to arrive.
