Day Trip to La Paz from Cabo San Lucas

Visit several coastal villages on your way to La Paz on this day trip from Cabo San Lucas. Journey along the secluded Pacific Coast highway and explore the historical center and Malecón on a guided walk. Experience the gastronomy and architecture and have free time at a pristine beach. Top it off with a margarita (own expense) at the Hotel California in Todos Santos. Numbers are limited to ensure personalized attention from your professional guide.

What to Expect

Departing from your hotel in Cabo San Lucas by minivan, the first stop on your full-day tour is the Tropic of Cancer. Snap photos of the monument marking the spot in Baja California Sur before continuing the scenic drive along a secluded coastal road.

Browse arts and crafts and shop for typical Baja sweets at a local market en route to Barriles, a fishing village that boasts panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Sate your appetite on arrival in the picturesque town of San Bartolo, where you can purchase burritos, empanadas, tamales and more.

Continuing through the old mining town of El Triunfo, your guide points out the smokestack designed by Gustave Eiffel. See other architectural attractions before descending upon La Paz. Start with a walk along the Malecón then head to remote Coromuel beach with its inviting crystal-clear waters.

After you’ve worked on your tan, your guide takes you to visit La Paz Cathedral and sets you free to explore the historic center on your own. After lunch at Bismarcito restaurant, set off for Todos Santos and its famous Hotel California, where you can purchase a mouthwatering margarita.

Your small-group tour ends with return transport to your Cabo hotel.
