Our guide was Jaun. He was a very knowledgeable and kind native. Nassau schools educate well. It is a great way to see New Providence in a short time. I loved the flamingos! We are experienced long distance bicycle riders. The beach (one speed) bicycles made for a relaxed ride. I had my first conch fritter! Yummy (and my husband bought my a true Bahamas beer - Kalick very good also). The fort was interesting history of Nassau. I wish we could have spent and entire day sightseeing by bike.

Our guide was very friendly, but there is no way around the fact that this tour is way overpriced for what you get. We spent most of our time walking around the zoo, the fort and sitting at a restaurant eating conch fritters. A small amount of our time was on the bikes traveling from place to place. We missed the majority of the tour at the fort because it was not coordinated in advance, and the guide was already out giving a tour when we arrived. We were back at our Airbnb within about 2.5 hours of being picked up, so the tour definitely did not last the full 3 hours advertised.

We booked this excursion based on the positive reviews, but with a bit of hesitation due to the “details”. We were to meet at McDonalds in Nassau and were not quite sure who to look for. The first person to approach us was a taxi driver, although he didn’t look sketchy, the name he gave was was not our contact’s name. He then explained that our contact was in route and our party of 8 would have to be divided to get to the drop off point for the bikes. We agreed, but still nervous at this point. When the vehicles divided and went different directions, we nearly freaked out thinking that we had definitely been kidnapped. This was not the case, thankfully. We were reunited with the rest of our party at a lovely plant nursery, and our fears of becoming victims relieved, we began our trek. Juan quickly became one of our favorite people, and the tour was a delight. Yes, it was hot, but Juan did his best to keep us comfortable, and was especially kind and attentive to our Nana:). The teenagers with us have decided they will be going back to visit him in the future. If I ever go back, I will repeat the tour, as it really was a fun outing for our family.

The company was easy to send a text to in order to get a pick up time and you can do tours on Sundays which is nice since a lot of tours don't do Sundays. Even though it's hot the water and coconut water are refreshing. The bike ride isn't super hard and Juan did a great job taking us around and the stops are all really fun. The flamingo parade and bird feeding was super fun. The conch fritters were delicious. Juan was very down to earth and easy to talk to about Bahamian culture. It does get very warm biking around but that is what is expected biking around during the summer.
Overall it was a fun experience. I wish we could have learned a little bit more but I wasn't prepared to ask a ton of questions since I really didn't know anything so it was nice to just learn something. The fort was probably the least exciting stop on the trip but nonetheless it was a pretty decent stop. Would recommend for those who want a little bit of culture on their trip and to see a few of the local destinations all in one!

A different way to see some of the sites (zoo/garden, fort) and see a bit more than your typical tourist. It's a short ride and pretty flat. My only request would be an option for something a little longer (more miles) but I understand that is difficult with the narrow roads. We had a bit of a scheduling snafu and they worked with us to reschedule. Overall great time and recommend Juan, our tour guide.

What a very fun tour this was! Juan, our guide, met us and took us to pick up the bicycles and offered us 2 ice cold bottles, one of water, one of coconut water, which we slipped into the 2 cup holders on each bike. We each then got a helmet and a small receiver with headphones, so we could hear Juan talk to us while we biked. The ride was very leisurely, and on mostly back roads so very safe. We first went to Astradara Gardens, a small zoo. It was very pleasant, and we enjoyed walking through and seeing the marching flamingoes and feeding the small parrots. Next we went to Fort Charlotte and walked through that. Next was Junkaroo Beach. We walked in the sand and dipped our feet into the refreshing water. Next was Fish Fry, a "strip mall" of local food, where we had fresh, hot, and very delicious conch fritters. EXCELLENT! Then we biked back to the starting point. We felt we "hit the highlights" and had a very good time! We never felt rushed, and still only took the allotted 3 hours. Juan was a SUPERIOR guide! He is very warm and friendly, and knows a lot about the islands and it's history. He was very fun and joked with us while we were riding along. It was truly a fun and interesting tour, and I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone. Not at all strenuous or dangerous, so no worries on that front. Just a novel way to see the major attractions in Nassau,

There was a little issue with my bike but they were able to fix it and we were on our way again. So easy to hear the tour guide with the use of headsets! He was very informative and patient with us. The stops were entertaining and very scenic stops. Got to try the conch fritters and the local kalik beer!

Originally booked for 4, grandma had to cancel, due to balance issues. Grandpa stayed on, along with the 2 granddaughters (ages 11 and 14). We met at the McDonald's on Bay Street, and headed to the office where we got out helmets and bikes. Got everything adjusted, and were handed our water, very nicely frozen hard, as well as our cocoanut water, (also frozen). They were quickly stashed into their holders on the handlebars, and off we headed. The bikes are single speed beach cruisers, not fancy, but comfortable. (Well, as comfortable as a beach cruiser can be !) our first stop was the Ardastra Gardens and Zoo, (timed to make the Marching Flamingo's display) and like all the other stops, the admission was included. It's made very clear that the trip is for YOU, not the guide, so speed and "keeping up" is not an issue. Since it was early, no liquid was needed, and along we went. After coming out of the Gardens, we headed to our next stop, Fort Charlotte. There is a hill (minor one) but they make sure you have no need to be "macho" and try to overexert...the guide starts off by walking his bike, and strongly encourages you to do the same. After the fort, (admission included, also) it's off to Junkanoo Beach....well, the Western Esplanade portion, and a chance to take a dip. Onward to Arawak Cay, and the sampling of the conch fritters. Not just a one, or two bite sample, but a nice sized order. My granddaughters wanted something other than water (and coconut water) and our guide got them some Goombay Punch...a nice touch, I thought. (No...not the alcoholic version.....the soft drink version !) After spending some time relaxing, it was off back to the office, and our transportation back to the McDonald's. The three of us had a great time, and the girls thoroughly enjoyed it. I had (have) a suggestion for the company....there are some people who cannot or will not be able to ride bicycles, and a trike or two would be a welcome addition. Also, a basket of some sort would be nice, to put anything collected, or personal items in. We've been to Nassau many times, and trying to find that which we haven't done before, or something new, is getting more difficult. This is a perfect trip, keeps you out of the touristy downtown area, and have a good time. Stops can be altered to meet the needs of the group, and is, in fact, encouraged. The group includes your guide, a headset (to hear him while riding) and a "tail end Charlie", riding his bike with the company flag riding high and letting over coming vehicles that there is a bicycle group ahead. Nice touch ! Would we do it again? Most certainly, and they might even add a new route, one never knows.

A business reward trip landed us in the port of Nassau. It was crazy busy when our cruise ship along with three others docked. Throngs of people visiting the shops and Straw Market made for a frantic first experience in town. A short walk to MacDonald's to meet up with Juan led us away from the craziness. The drive to Coconutwater Cruisers by Juan from MacDonald's may be very short, but it is worlds away from the Straw Market. You see the neighborhoods and a local school on the way.

Once you pick up your cruising bike, helmet, earphones, and coconutwater, Juan will lead you to the local zoo to see the March of the Flamingos. It is probably a half mile by bike. I have had a fascination with flamingos since I was a little girl and this was a dream come true for me. The birds were lovely, clean and well trained. Everyone was invited to have their photo taken with the flamingos.

From there it is an equally short ride to Fort Charlotte where Juan will hand you over to a tour guide to take you through the Fort. The views from the Fort are quite beautiful.

An easy downhill glide on your cruiser will take you to Junkanoo Beach and the Fish Fry. You can get a great photo of your cruise ship from this area before you indulge in the local cuisine. Juan arranged for us to have Conch Fritters which I highly recommend, but don't miss out on the Conch Salad. We opted for the Tropical Conch Salad that was expertly prepared before our eyes. It was way too much food, but the experience was worth the extra cost. Don't forget to add a local beer.

The entire trip was maybe 2 miles by bike. The bikes are cruisers with coaster brakes. The pace is appropriately island slow and relaxed. Juan is a native of Nassau, loves his country and shares his enthusiasm and knowledge with his visitors. I highly recommend this tour as a different way to experience Nassau, especially if you are on a time limit from the cruise line. It will even leave you time to visit the shops and Straw Market at the end of the tour.
