St Maarten Shore Excursion: Orient and Maho Beach Half-Day Tour
From US$40.00
Overview

While your ship is in St Maarten's port, swim and lounge at Orient Beach and Maho Beach on this half-day shore excursion. Jet ski, paraglide or sail at Orient Beach, then grab a snack at one of the many bars and restaurants there. Travel to Maho beach and watch jumbo jets fly overhead to land at the nearby airport. A guide, complimentary refreshments and round-trip transportation from the cruise port are included.

What to Expect

Meet your friendly guide at the Philipsburg cruise port and board a comfortable, air-conditioned van for transport to your first beach stop. Onboard, enjoy complimentary refreshments like water, beer, soda and rum punch.

Arrive at St Maarten's longest beach, Orient Bay Beach, where you'll stay for approximately 2 hours. Spread out your towel and relax in the sand, wade or swim in the calm aqua waters, or visit some of the nearby beach bars and restaurants. Sailboats, jet skis and paragliding excursions are all available, as well as some kids' activities (at your own expense.)

Around midday, return to the vehicle for the trip to Maho Bay Beach. Famous for its proximity fo Princess Juliana International Airport, the beach is a great place to see jumbo jets fly in and out of the island. Stroll the white sand beach, lounge in the sand, or watch the waves crash on the rocky coast during your 2-hour stay here. Visit the Sunset Beach Bar and Grill for lunch (own expense) while listening to a live feed from the airport's control tower.

After your half day of fun in the sun and sand, enjoy drop-off back at the cruise port.

Worry-free Shore Excursion:We will ensure your timely return to the Philipsburg port for this activity. In the rare event your ship has departed, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call. If your ship is delayed and you are unable to attend this activity, your money will be refunded. See our terms and conditions for full details.

Best Choice we could have made

The process was simple. They were waiting in the lot behind the fence at the end of the dock. They had someone waiting for us and took us straight to the bus. The driver/tour guide was amazing. The nicest guy ever. They had water, soda,...More

Beautiful Day in a Beautiful place.

Our half-day tour with Anthony and Amigo tours exceeded expectations. That is saying a lot considering Sint Maarten has been on my bucket list for years. Anthony is truly a Sint Maarten ambassador. The tour exceeded expectation on so many levels it’s hard to point...More

Awesome view and great ambience!

We were very happy with the excursion, while off the cruise ship. We went to the Dutch and French sides of the island, stopped at the bar/restaurant next to the beach with the airplanes coming down, and enjoyed the view!

Booked this online and very glad we did. We were lucky and were the only couple on the bus. The driver Anthony was accommodating and informative. The island is recovering from the hurricane and it's good to see how far they have come. This tour...More

That is the exact same question I had before my cruise on May 2018 to St Maarten . The answer is it depends on the day of the week you are there. Orient beach was great for the kids to run and play—- literally. Maho/Sunset... More

The buses leave at different times. They make sure they are there when you dock and have you back to port in plenty of rime before your ship leaves. We left at 9am and where back in time to shop a little in the port.

Hi, Cathy! These tours are usually going early morning and are near the docking port. They are a couple of hours, so you should have plenty of time to make it back to the ship by 6 PM. We had to be back by 4:30 PM and didn't... More
