Overview
One seriously relaxing catamaran cruise packs in two snorkeling stops on this tour to Icacos Cay, an uninhabited nature reserve surrounded by the Caribbean Sea. An onboard bar, buffet lunch, snorkeling equipment, and upgrade for hotel pickup from San Juan create the ultimate day of fun in the sun, without taking you too far from Puerto Rico’s shores.
What to Expect
Begin your tour with hotel pickup from San Juan (if upgrade was selected at booking) or make your way to Puerto del Rey Marina to meet your guide and board your catamaran. Set sail past stunning coastline featuring views of El Yunque National Forest and untouched coastline en route to the uninhabited island of Cayo Icacos.

Spend free time swimming, snorkeling with the provided gear, and sunbathing on the private island reserve before enjoying a buffet lunch back on board that includes sandwiches, salads, and snacks. Beverages—like piña colades, rum punch, soft drinks, and juice—are also served. Then, continue to your second reef of the day for another round of snorkeling with chances to see animals like rays, octopi, and tropical fish. Return to your original departure point at the Puerto del Rey Marina or your San Juan hotel at the end of the tour.

Note: The exact route is weather dependent. Similar locations like Palominitos might be substituted for safety.

It was definitely fun but

Should try and split it between a singles and married/together cruise. Just my advice. I can only interact with a bunch of married people for so long. Also, is kind of annoying seeing a bunch of single girls get on the other boat. 🤷‍♂️

When you get to the marina the attendant will direct you where to go. There’s plenty of parking on grass directly across from the catamaran check in site. Easy access!
