Overview
Explore the Jamaican countryside in just a few hours on this high-intensity ATV off-road adventure in Sandy Bay. Speed along rugged dirt trails past farming villages and citrus groves, and discover some of Jamaica’s native plant and animal life. That leaves enough time for your quick visit to one of the island’s oldest Presbyterian churches and photo ops at a mountain viewpoint 2,200 feet (670 meters) above sea level.
What to Expect
Start your tour with pickup from your hotel in Montego Bay or Negril at your selected morning or afternoon departure time.

On arrival in Sandy Bay, stop at a safari ranch for a short safety briefing and then hop on your ATV and hit the trails. Splash through puddles and speed past farming villages and citrus groves, as you explore the Jamaican countryside. Ride through the Blue Hole Estate, Hanover Parish, and the village of Smithfield, stopping along the way at one of Jamaica’s oldest Presbyterian churches.

Continue along rugged dirt trails up the mountainside to arrive at a scenic lookout point situated 2,200 feet (670 meters) above sea level. Enjoy views overlooking the lush countryside and learn about Jamaica’s native plant and animal life.

Back at the ranch, refuel with a traditional Jamaican lunch (own expense) and then end your tour with hotel drop-off in Montego Bay or Negril.

Not good

During warmups a tree branch fell on me. Causing the helmet face mask to break. Scratches and bruises and a swollen right hand. Horrible experience

ATV with Barrington

Barrington was our guide for ATVing, and we had a blast. He made sure we knew everything we needed to know, and we couldn't have asked for a better time.

They keep it in the preferred gear for you, so basically. You just have to control the right gas throttle with your thumb and left break handle.
