Overview
A quick guided tour to Hoyo Azul, or Blue Hole, makes it easy to squeeze a trip to Punta Cana’s must-see natural attraction into your itinerary. Take a brief hike along a nature trail to reach the natural swimming hole, and then go for a short swim before heading back. Hotel pickup and drop-off and multiple departure times make this tour all the more convenient for time-strapped travelers.
What to Expect
Begin your tour with pickup from your Punta Cana hotel prior to your selected morning or afternoon departure time. Make the short drive to Scape Park, an eco-adventure park inside the posh Cap Cana resort and residential area.

Upon arrival, take a short nature walk along a trail lined with orchids, ferns, and cacti. Stop long enough to snap a photo of the tropical plant life. Then, arrive at Hoyo Azul, or Blue Hole, a naturally formed sinkhole lined by steep limestone walls. Walk down the wooden staircase for a swim in one of Punta Cana’s most popular natural attractions.

Return to your starting point and meet your bus for hotel drop-off at the end of this Hoyo Azul tour.
