Take the wheel and drive your own all-terrain vehicle through Aruba's rugged landscape on this half-day tour. Even beginners can enjoy piloting their own sturdy ATV, with all instruction provided and a guide in the lead to ensure your safety and comfort. Access parts of Arikok National Park that many tours skip, and also visit the Natural Pool, the Bushiribana Gold Mine Ruins, and the Alto Vista Chapel.
What to Expect
Begin your rugged adventure with pickup at your Aruba hotel. Transfer to the ATV depot to get set up with safety equipment and all-terrain vehicle, specially designed to conquer the rocky landscape of Aruba’s Arikok National Park. You’ll receive instructions and a safety briefing before hitting the trails.

Feel safe and comfortable knowing a guide is leading the way, which ensures your comfort and safety. Along the rocky coastline, stop for photos and views of the waves crashing dramatically against the cliffs. Discover the Natural Pool, where you can take a dip in aquamarine ocean water contained in a natural rock formation.

Drive over to the historic Bushiribana Gold Mine Ruins to learn about their history and finish up at the Alt Vista Chapel, a tranquil landmark on the edge of the island. Along the way, you’ll learn information about Aruba’s ecosystem, culture, and history from your guide’s commentary.

We stayed about 45 minutes to an hour. You definitely can swim if the water isn’t too rough. I don’t know about snorkeling.

It gets pretty warm so we definitely went in the morning. And we were there in early March. Much of the time you’re in the sun. Well worth the money, though.
