Aruba Full-Day 4x4 Jeep Safari Tour
From US$109.00
Overview
Combine the freedom of driving your own vehicle with the comfort of traveling with a guide on this 4x4 jeep tour of Aruba. Get behind the wheel to conquer some of Aruba's most rugged terrain, mostly inaccessible to traditional tour vehicles, but leave the navigating to your guide. Follow them to some of the island's highlights, such as the Ayo Monolithic Rock Formation, Frenchman's Pass, and the Baby Natural Bridge, eat lunch and relax at Baby Beach.
What to Expect

Following convenient pickup at your hotel, transfer to the jeep tour departure location. Get some tips on handling the rugged terrain and get matched up with some fellow tour passengers if there are fewer than four people in your group. Get behind the wheel and head out for the far reaches of Aruba, with your guide in the lead jeep.

Start out at the California Lighthouse, where you’ll learn about its history and its links to the Titanic, then head for the Rock Garden, which allows for great views and photo ops of the rocky north coast of the island. Drive on to the Alto Vista Chapel, dating from 1750, to learn about its history and importance in Aruba.

Take in the gravity-defying Baby Natural Bridge, a formation of coral limestone molded by years of wind and waves. Drive onward to the Bushiribana Gold Mine Ruins, where you can keep any gold you find and learn about the gold industry on the island through your guide’s commentary. See the ancient Indian drawings at the Ayo Monolithic Rock Formation, then stop at a local restaurant for a barbecue lunch.

Travel through the scenic Frenchman’s Pass on the way to Baby Beach, where you will have free time for relaxing and snorkeling; equipment rental is available on the beach. After the day’s last stop, return to the departure point and on to drop-off at your hotel.

All the jeeps were like the ones sold here. Newish jeep renegades, safaris etc. Probably do 5 but it will be tight.
