A Path Less Traveled
Nov 2020
A Walk in the Woods is a great resource if you are new to hiking. Mike was knowledgeable and adaptable to different ability levels. I appreciated his tips on hiking a rocky technical path. He took us on an less-traveled trail and we got to enjoy several beautiful unnamed waterfalls in the park. Loved it.

A little overpriced, but considering it was our first time to the area and we didn’t know any of the trails, it was worth the experience. Our guild was very knowledgeable and nice. He educated our young children about some things along the hike which made it a memorable experience for them. He took us to a waterfall that we otherwise wouldn’t have known was there if we had hiked the trail alone.

Awesome guided tour!
Jun 2020 • Couples
Our guide, Kensey, made the walk over the top for us! She was very informative about the plants, flowers, trees, animals, everything. Part of the park is closed right now so she did a different trail for us, which I still loved. Will highly recommend this to everyone!

Run the kids down!
Throughout the park there are so many creeks and areas to run off the kids & enjoy a break away from the crowds on the trails! Shady cool spots abound allowing a wonderful opportunity to just tuck away & enjoy the sounds of nature.

Awesome Walk
We had the best day!!! Our walk day 3/18/200 was perfect. We walked a total of 3 miles. We had 2 older kids ages 8 and 13. We thoroughly enjoyed our day. The walk was beautiful and informative. We saw beautiful scenery, falls, and the beginning of spring flowers. Jaime was AWESOME!!! She taught us so much and we felt safe with her. She even took pictures of and with us. She really made our day. This was our second Walk In The Woods excursion and we will return when we are in this area again. Great company, love what you guys do.
