Overview
As the lengthiest rafting trip on the Pigeon River, this excursion is perfect for thrill-seekers who love being on the water. You'll navigate Class I to Class IV rapids with a private guide in every raft, who ensures you receive personalized attention. Plus, no prior rafting experience is required for this tour, meaning that everyone from beginners to experienced rafters can get involved.
What to Expect

Raft the churning waters of the Upper Pigeon River on this 6.5-mile (10-km) adventure. After making your own way to the start point, you'll receive a safety briefing and get kitted out with the necessary equipment. Working together as a team, you and your raft mates navigate through Class I to Class IV rapids, maneuvering through twists, turns, and natural obstacles.

Certified guides in every raft lead the team through about 70 rapids running right through the heart of the Smoky Mountains. The trip takes place rain or shine, so come prepared for big water, big fun, and big adventures. Even though the course can be challenging, it’s appropriate for beginners as well as intermediate rafters.

Great customer service!

Me and my family had an amazing time rafting with SMO! My parents are not adventurous, but this was the perfect trip for them! The tour ran on time, and our guide was excellent. I'd definitely go back if we're in the area!

A real can't miss.

This is a major reason to be in Tennessee. Zip lines, miniature golf, go-karts, and stuff like that can be found anywhere and has nothing to do with seeing outdoors for real. The guides are all experts and only care about the people they guide....More
