Overview
Admire comprehensive aerial views of Denali Mountain (formerly Mt McKinley) on this 1.5-hour flightseeing tour from Talkeetna. On this small-group tour limited to six passengers only, view the Wickersham Wall — approximately 14,000 feet of continuous rock and ice — as well as Kahiltna Glacier, Climber’s Base Camp, and Kahiltna Pass. Snap shots of the famous West Buttress Climbing Route and fly over the Alaska Range, full of alpine tundras. Upgrade to land on a glacier for a walkabout in one of more remote spots in the world.
What to Expect
Check in at Talkeetna State Airport 30 minutes before your 1.5-hour flight and board your plane seating a max of six passengers. Get out your camera as your pilot takes you over Denali Mountain, formerly Mt McKinley. This flight experience allows you to see all sides of the great mountain: north, south, east and west.

Some of the majestic sights covered on this flight include Wickersham Wall, Kahiltna Glacier, Climber’s Base Camp, Kahiltna Pass, and the West Buttress Climbing Route. (See below for a list of more points of interest.)

Curious about the glaciers and want to set foot on one? Upgrade your flight package to include a landing on an actual glacier. Stand beneath the towering mountains in a tranquil world of snow and ice, before you’re taken back to the airport.

Once in a lifetime experience

Denali is awesome if all you get to do is see it from the road. Having the chance to fly among the peaks and land on a glacier is a not-to-be-missed experience. The weather was crystal clear the day we were there, but we were...More

Great day to fly

This flight was great and our pilot Chip was very experienced and knowledgeable. The weather cooperated and were able to land on the glacier. Highly recommend K2 and this very safe flight experience.
