My husband and I booked this bike tour for 9am on Tuesday, August 20. We booked it on Monday, August 19 at lunch - around 12:50pm. At the time of the booking there were 4 tour times. We picked the earliest one at 9am on Tuesday. There was a note at the bottom of the tour times, saying that this tour needed to be booked by 7am Tuesday morning. Having booked on Monday, we didn’t think we’d have any problems. We got our confirmation. I checked it that afternoon, again that night and the morning of. All seemed good. The meet up spot was in front of an empty house under construction. No signs or anything. We got there 10 minutes early and no one showed. A little before 9am, I messaged them, then called, then messaged again. I didn’t get a response. I went to Viator, who we had booked with and their chat line worked with us. By about 9:20am we found out it was cancelled. Shortly after we got a full refund. Please be aware we are not the only ones stood up. Viator has other reviews, which I read later of no shows by this company. Having only two full days in Puglia, this was definitely disappointing. Please be aware when booking this company.

We had the absolute best time with Daniele. Before we even arrived, just his contact with us was so friendly and helpful. Upon meeting at the shop, my dad and I took off on bikes through the Olive Groves, stopping to notice credible trees, ancient, constructions, and beauty all around us. It was an absolutely stunning ride, and we felt joyful and appreciative every step of the way. Daniele was full of great information, managing to give us a little soundbites along the way, and giving us a full picture of the magnitude of this beautiful land, and the purpose of the olive Groves/OLIVE OIL, and all of the history around it. We also got to taste OLIVE OIL and learn about what we were tasting. It was so interesting and unlike anything we had ever expected. It truly gave us an appreciation for OLIVE OIL and its process and diversity. We left with a new friend, Daniele, and would recommend any of our friends and family to absolutely go do this tour and see him.

My friend and I spent a wonderful day cycling with Daniele. Visited a working masseria, an ancient cave home/church, olive groves, costal dunes system and costal village, where we stopped for a delicious picnic lunch. Daniele is enthusiastic and knowledgeable. A wonderful day that can be tailored to your needs. Highly recommend.

Daniele was a perfect host and gave us a great balance of cycling and stopping and hearing about the history of olive oil while looking at old monuments The tasting of olive oils was a lovely way to finish the afternoon

Very informative, Daniele is clearly very passionate about protecting the culture of puglia and connecting people with the landscape. The bike ride was pleasant too and not too tricky. Excellent!

We loved this cycling tour around the Puglia countryside. Daniele was a font of information on the history of the area and its olive cultivation and we found out lots. The olive oil tasting was great as well. The bikes were good too. Thanks Daniele for your enthusiasm and cheerfulness! Definitely recommended.

We so enjoyed this tour! From start to finish, Daniele was kind,considerate and a wealth of knowledge! The ride itself for those who ride was easy...very flat and the road conditions fine. The tour through the olive groves and especially the ancient ones was fascinating. Daniele provided great historical background and we ended the tour of the trees in a grove where one of the trees was 3500 years old. the road is one the Roman soldiers walked thousands of years before. The grand finale was an olive oil tasting that was great...I highly recommend this.

Daniele was right on time, very nice, knowledgeable and professional. He speaks very good English. The ride was flat, easy and fun. We learned so much about the region, olive trees and olive oil. The tasting was informative, unfortunately we weee unable to make a purchase as they were sold out for the season. Book this tour, you won’t be disappointed.

We had a very nice time .Danielle was a great tour guide. He is so passionate and knowledgeable about the Pugla region. He is so easy, friendly person with great seance of humor, helped us with other informatons about restaurants and which beach is worth to go. It was fun to taste the olive oil in the place they produce this " liquid gold".

It was an absolutely fabulous day with Daniele! He is so knowledgeable and passionate about the Puglia region, local wines and olive oil. He brings the country to life with his style of tour, and we had a wonderful time. We were a group of 10 with teenagers and adults. Bighly recommended!

My husband and I absolutely loved our bike tour with Daniele through the olive orchards learning all about the history and current olive harvesting and olive oil production. Daniele was very friendly, funny, and extremely knowledgeable about the history. He was great at guiding us safely on bike through the gorgeous olive orchards. It was more of a leisurely rather than an intense bike ride and the bikes were very comfortable with pouches for our phones and waters that he provided. He showed us caves and a Masseria where they used to make olive oil and then we ended at a modern cooperative where he showed us how olive oil is now produced and guided us through a tasting of the delicious olive oil. We did the 430 tour and it ended up being a private tour with Daniele and he spent an extensive amount of time (~3 hours) with us. It was gorgeous at golden hour and a comfortable temperature in August. It was a really unique experience that we highly recommend!!!

Daniele was an outstanding guide who really made this tour exceptional. From our starting point under the carob tree at the Cultural Center, to our final stop for an olive oil tasting at a great charcuterie, we could not have asked for a better experience. Every stop was a delicious delight, and truly an authentic taste of Brindisi. Daniele made it a point to keep us comfortably in the shade much as possible on a hot day, and his running narrative beyond the food was interesting as we moved from stop to stop. I came ashore skeptical, and finished the tour really impressed, informed, and grateful for the experience.

Best Tour Ever! Daniele is so knowledgeable, personable and funny. He is also passionate about this part of the world and the subject of this tour - olives. He has a wealth of information - antidotal, historical etc… who knew there is such a difference between virgin & extra virgin olive oils!? Although we signed up for a group tour, we were actually alone with the charming guide Daniel. We all enjoyed the sights, the road, and Daniel's impressive historical and agricultural knowledge. We were a family of 3 adults and two children, the bike ride is easy and pleasant (despite the heavy heat), and tasting the olive oil at the end of the trip was a big bonus. I strongly recommend everyone who comes to the Apulia area to take the tour.
