About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- michaelgB6264QU0 contributionsOff The Beaten Track - Hike and PaddleLots of fun, well organised and Kym was a great guide. Even though we had a last minute change (due to no fault of OTBT) it was handled without issue and with lots of positivity. The food was also really nice. I would totally recommend.Written 25 November 2024
- ajohnfromsanfran0 contributionsWestern Australia Adventure Of A LifetimeWe needed assistance with customizing a highly personalized itinerary for a bucket list visit to Western Australia. OTBT was there for us every step of the way and then some. Our interests included outdoor hiking activities, with visits to celebrated landmark locations and local conservation centres, vineyards, distilleries, farms, apiaries, etc. OTBT recognized and respected our inclinations, working with us to craft a trip that would be genuinely life-changing. They offered thoughtful recommendations that enhanced and elevated our WA travels. Australia is a world way away from many of us, and it takes a lifetime to fully experience everything it has to offer. Don't hesitate to do your research well ahead of your visit and benefit from the insider knowledge/tips that OTBT can share with you. Thank you, Tracy and Sarah!Written 16 November 2024
- haraldlyche010 contributionsCape to Cape 7 dayWalked from Cape Naturaliste to Cape Leeuwin. Loved the scenery. Our 3 guides (leader, follower and driver) did an excellent job. Overall program was very well planned and thought through.Written 4 November 2024
- terrylatquinns0 contributionsAmazing Cape to Cape WA experienceMy wife and I decided to embark on this 7 day Cape Leeuwin to Cape Naturalist trek and I have to say it was truly an amazing and unforgettable experience. The trek was a hard slog and we were quite exhausted each evening however the staff were terrific. Their care, knowledge, organisation and motivation was exceptional & inspiring. We were a group of 15 of varying experience and fitness and thanks to the incredible guide and her assistants we all completed the trek with a profound respect of the achievement that I really believe maybe some of us might not have without their expertise. Thanks again for a lifelong memory that we will cherish and not hesitate to recommend your service to any that care to ask.Written 28 October 2024
- jobennett20160 contributionsCape to Cape WA - 7 NightsWOW this hike was exceptional, it was everything plus more and has certainly filled my CUP with the adventure I was after. Off the Beaten Track were truly amazing, tour guides Heidi & Angie made the trip exciting, allowed us to hike at our own pace, they shared all the local knowledge with us and the set up of having accommodation at one place that you went to each day was perfect. The meals provided and the care and detail provided was more than I expected and I know I will travel back to WA again to do some more of there hiking adventures If you are after a true experience, amazing coastline, views and scenery, wildflowers, nature, wildlife, birds and a personal challenge this trip must be considered, I loved it and it was so much more than I expected. Well done Off the Beaten Track, I'll be back putting my footprints in some more exciting places with you very soon Cheers JoWritten 23 October 2024

- 730carmelt0 contributionsLife changing!!This was one of the best decisions I ever made to do this tour. I nearly pulled out a few times because I was worried I wouldn't be able to do it. The support from Heidi, Anji & Tracy was phenomenal. They are absolutely the best. Every day was amazing and the opportunity to take it all in and switch off from the outside world was so refreshing. We had an abundance of whales escorting us down the coast, dolphins surfing the waves and every wildflower imaginable - not to mention the million dollar ocean views. Being amongst nature is the best tonic imaginable. The feeling at the end, touching the Leeuwin Lighthouse can not be described. Such a feeling of pride and accomplishment. The OTBT crew made it so easy with lux accommodation and all meals provided. Well worth the money!! I would not hesitate recommending this tour to anyone and its suitable for all ages. We had a range of ages in our group. Absolutely LOVED it!!Written 17 October 2024
- David M0 contributionsCape to Cate 4 - 12 Oct 24This was one hard trek. But once the body has had a few days to rest and recover, you can sit back and really begin to enjoy the memories and the accomplishment of what you have achieved. The driving force on this trek was the incredible support team, Heidi our guide, Ang our First Aider (great job) and tail end Charlie - pushed me hard every morning to move faster, Tracy our driver and team leader. And then of course the wonderful group of trekkers. All 14 added something special over the seven days on the track and those memories will be remembered for a very long time. I must thank Terry and Sharon for inviting me at a lunch long ago and Terry for being the Photo/Journalist for the trek (I was too exhausted at the end of each day to post anything). Thank you Mark for carrying my boots in your pack for six kms of beach walking, a great show of team spirit. The bravery of Ann-Marie with a twisted ankle and Jo with her Achilles and painful heels, you were both an inspiration to the rest of us trekkers - especially to me who at times struggled with some parts of the trail. I am proud to have completed this trek and have the certificate (framed) to prove it. Thanks to all.Written 15 October 2024
- MarkDavey800 contributionsThis is THE BEST all inclusive experience Ive hadFrom start to finish this experience was INCREDIBLE!!!! The whole crew at Off The Beaten Track WA we're amazeballs, from both the guides who were very attentive to making the trip as best as possible at all times to the behind the scenes support from the Director of the company herself, there was nothing I or the other guests were left wanting. Every detail was pre-planned and executed to perfection and even when there was a personal need to break away from the schedule and cater for some additional shopping needs, every effort was made to squeeze in the time to get our needs seen to. I would honestly and sincerely suggest that if you're looking to do the Cape to Cape or any hikes in WA, do yourself a favour and look up Off The Beaten Track WA!!!Written 14 October 2024

- stephenhH4957JV0 contributionsActive Indulgence in a pristine environmentWe had a fantastic experience. Our tour guide and team were friendly, skilled, inclusive and knowledgeable. Our tour companions were delightful, like-minded people, the accommodation was superb quality and the many and varied opportunities to sample locally produced gourmet food in picturesque venues were impressive. We were introduced to a range of landscapes, seascapes, flora and fauna in wilderness experiences and Indigenous perspectives were always respected and acknowledged. We have recommended the tour and your wonderful company to friends who are interested in visiting the region.Written 12 October 2024

- karenkI7395FD0 contributionsEsperance & Cape Le Grand Gourmet AdventureThis was my first multi-day trip with OTBT and it was fantastic. Every aspect (our beautiful accomodation at Esperance Chalet Village; each amazing experience; all meals, whether at local eateries or prepared in-house by the talented Chef du Jour) was carefully curated and expertly managed by our two wonderful and considerate OTBT hosts. Most importantly, there were lots of laughs! Was there a downside? Yes! Despite our very active days throughout the trip, I managed to gain 2 kilos because of the great food.Written 25 September 2024

Went on my first hike yesterday, and I had an amazing experience! Our guides were fantastic from start to finish, they engaged with us throughout the tour with some history and funny jokes. The sunrise was magical, Our morning tea was yum! , Meditating on the rocks is an experience itself! , a great beginners trek.
