        Day on a speedboat
It was a great day overall. After being picked up from our hotel and offered light refreshments, we were taken by a group of highly energetic and friendly young men on a speedboat for snorkelling experience, National parks involving hiking/kayaking and swimming. Throughout the day we had lunch and they were keeping us well hydrated. Very enjoyable day and I would highly recommend.

        An excellent, fun filled experience
An excellent morning. Lots of fun & learnt a lot. All 4 dishes were quick & easy to make & all tasted delicious- looking forward to making them at home . There was lots of food - the advice not to eat before we came was good but we couldn’t eat it all so our husbands benefited when we got back to our hotel with our leftovers - they also said they were delicious . Would definitely recommend.

        Lovely day out
We were taken to only one snorkelling spot which had poor visibility (not their fault) and the fish etc that we did see was very scarce and could be seen better on Koh Tao. The island visits were lovely for relaxing and the hike up to the Emerald lagoon, although tiring, was great to do. My recommendation for elderly couples is to be cautious if you have walking issues as you have to exit the boat via a plastic wharf which bounces up and down as you walk. Easy to loose your balance and nothing to hang on to, so make sure you have assistance.

A very good experience and a lot of fun.
The contact confirming and scheduling the booking was very good. The transportation was professional and on time. The class itself was well organized and prepped for the experience. The cooking was completely interactive with the other members of the class. The cooking and the finished product was beyond expection.

Not really worth the Money. Horses tortured.
We are ambivalent. The riding itself is quite nice. We had booked the beach and the jungle. Both fell short of our expectations in terms of the scenery. The horses seemed tired and tortured. At the beginning there was one horse too few. Our guide was constantly smoking weed. You should think carefully about whether it's worth the money.

        Sea Cave Kayaking
My family enjoyed the Sea Cave Kayaking and Loy Karthong trip. We stayed on the hills near Kamala. Driver was supposed to pick us from reception at main road but drove up hill to pick us because we had young children (10, 6, 4yo). Lunch and dinner on the boat was surprisingly good! We brought our own snacks but the tea break provided was more than enough. Our kayaking guide Ball, spoke good English and gave good commentary to the caves and Thai culture. The children enjoyed the kayaking though it was pretty hot at the start. The highlight for us all was experiencing the luminescent plankton at the end. Highly recommend it.

        Terrible
Terrible trip. Boat was over 30 minutes late into the port, extremely dated boat and treat like children. We had 4 different boats and changed boats twice in the middle of the ocean with luggage. Would not recommend.

        Only mass processing
        - The tour was a total mass processing. The boat was filled to the top. For example, a breakfast was promised, which was then very late just a coffee on the jetty. You didn't see much on the snorkeling trip because there were so many boats and the water was cloudy due to all the people.

Amazing experience not to be missed
Lanta Thai cookery school was amazing experience. We went to evening class and had 4.5 hours there. It was great fun, we learned a lot and met some great people. Hats off to the instructors who were fab (just can’t recall the name - so sorry!) We cooked 4 dishes and tasted them all and had so much to eat we had to bring a takeaway with us. Cannot recommend enough fab experience! (And cheap beer!)

The Destination is overcrowded. The debarkation pier is a floating dock that tosses and buckles with the waves. Each stop was crowded with other boats. Our huge 3 engine boat ran out of gas on the way back. We drifted for an hour and a half waiting for help. They lied and said the engine broke. That’s why there is three engines duh! They poured gas in out of plastic bottles and we got back. We missed our evening tour boat because of the delay. No refund. No comp. nothing. Better off to book a private boat I think.

We decided to take a day to see a different part of Thailand and very very glad we did. The pick up was between 730 and 745...the pick up was exactly on time at 730. After been welcomed on the boat we were offered a light breakfast...as expected, not great Croissants, Bananas and Coffee, but exactly what was expected. During the trip over to the park the lovely staff were enthusiastic and filled part of the 1:45 trip with introductions, game plan, and some information. Provided on the boat at all times was plenty of water, coffee, tea, pepsi and 7up. Also as a nice touch, motion sickness tablets were available with breakfast. We opted for the Kayak version, so on arrival we spent about 45 minutes Kayaking to a beach where the non-kaykers were. From there we able to climb up to the lookout point of the island over looking the lagoon. After this it was lunch time back on the boat, yes it is basic, but both of us thought the Curry was really good. During lunch the boat is moved to another island, where you have the option of hiking to the top of a hill, visiting the caves, or simply relaxing on the beach and snorkeling from it. We opted for the hike to see the amazing views. Hot...sweaty...and be prepared to be out of breath even if moderately healthy....but well well worth it. Afterwards back to the boat for the 1:45 trip back home. Both ways the water was nice and calm, which is great for a couple of people that don't get on with boats.

Up until getting back to port this was a fantastic 5* trip and recommended for everyone. HOWEVER the drive back to the hotel ruined the day. The transfers are included and organised by the tour operator and therefore has to be addressed in this review.

The driver was a different driver to the driver in the morning. Of the whole day we have not sweated so much, felt so unsafe, and felt so unwell. The driver had no regard for speedlimits, blind corners, dogs, motocyclists, his passengers and basically anyone else nearby a road. He performed dangerous manoeuvres, overtook multiple vehicles towards blind corners, and sped through multiple towns. This is not a local style of driving...I've spent enough time on the Thai roads to know this...this is just pure arrogance and danger. The driver should not be allowed on the road on anything more than a bicycle, let alone carrying passengers. To top it off he had a dash cam to prove that nothing was his fault.

So unfortunately a great day ruined for us by one individual. It's a shame because everyone else went out of their way to make it a great day out

We were picked up from our hotel and drove to the pier to get on a boat. The breakfast was simple (coffee, tea, banana, croissant-like bun) but there was plenty of it. After the breakfast, we went to The Marine Park and started kayaking along the islands to our destination. We arrived on a small beach where we could see the lagoon. After that, we had a lunch which was tasty and decent size. After lunch, we were taken to the larger beach where we took a hike to the viewpoint (around 20-30 minutes going up). It was worth it as the view was spectacular. Finally, we snorkeled a bit but unfortunately, it's not a good place for that activity (just some fish swimming around and that's all).

Overall, it was really great! It would be even better if we had more time at the last stop (if you want to hike and snorkel you need to hurry!). Also, we really recommend taking a kayaking option. It was fun and just enough for a day if you have a few other activities ahead.

It was so horrible we arrived expecting breakfast which was a horrible coffee, stale croissant and banana.
It was so hot no fan or any relief from the heat. The smokers were up the front so all of the cigarette smell came right through the boat. It was so over crowed that we had to seperate the group.
The staff were friendly but that's all I could say about it being good.
Do yourself a favour and get a speed boat so you don't have to wait for over 100 people to get on and off the boat!

We had booked this trip via a travel agency in Bophut, make sure to negotiate the price, we saved 200 baht each by doing so. We took the option without kayaking and ended up paying 1100 bath per person. absolutely worth it! pick up was on time, ferry took about two hours. The guides were funny and friendly and super helpful! Beautiful destinations, make sure to bring good footwear to hike. We went to the cave and loved it but the hike sure is tricky and seems impossible to master in flipflops.
I would have liked more time at the beach at the last stop, but other than that our day was perfect. Great food also!!

All in all a beautiful place, happy and motivated people working, good activities. Times underestimated, which we knew from earlier reviews. We would’ve liked to have more time at the various ”checkpoints”, now the day felt a bit rushed. Other than that, perfect :)

I was hesitant to book this tour given the numerous negative reviews, especially the ones sighting lots of folks getting seasick (I am normally terrible on boats). But I was pretty pleasantly surprised - I was picked up on time, popped a Dramamine, and was fine! I laid out on the top, which definitely helped, as we were able to lie down. I'm not sure if I would have been ok had I not been taking medication, but it would have been WAY worse if I was on one of the many speed boats. I thought the organizers did a great job of giving up tips before getting to each sight and being very clear with the timeline for returning to the boat. The hike up to the top view was a lot more arduous than I expected and I think a number of people quit half way up - it may have been helpful to prep folks in advance before coming on the trip. Overall, a great trip for the price!

Would absolutely recommend, food was very good, free soft drinks all day, very nice and friendly staff answered any questions and helped everyone on and off the long tail boats. We had more than enough time on each island, didn’t do the hike but was said to be very steep so probably not suitable for young children. Christina made the trip for us and we had a wonderful time.
