Very good flight from Florence to Madrid. On arrival at the airport we requested mobility assistance for one of us who struggles with stairs. (There was no airbridge to enter the plane.) An attendant pushed the wheelchair to a special area of departures lounge from where we were lifted by elevators to the door of the plane. Another wheelchair was provided at Madrid to take us to baggage carousel and taxi. The flight was smooth and on time. Any refreshments on board must be paid for by contactless credit card. Baggage was very slow to arrive at the carousel.

Vueling VIP Lounge SCAMS SENIOR Citizen

Vueling scams a senior citizen by refusing to refund or transfer a VIP Lounge pass (fully paid for). When it was booked, Vueling was not clear as to which city (Malaga or Barcelona)the VIP Pass was for. When the error was discovered, there was no attempt to rectify. It was "too bad, so sad, we have your money for free now". Good companies take care of seniors not take advantage of them.

Never Fly Vueling its a nightmare

worst experience ever. flight VY6279 then connecting with flight VY7894 flight from Basel to Barcelona was on the 17th Feb 2025. The flight was late and the delay made us almost miss a connecting vueling flight to Cairo. I was travelling with a wheel chair assisted elderly parent. The flight crew simple ignored a small request to ask the flight deck to call ahead. specifically the senior flight attendant manageress. The luggage was not forwarded. The connecting flight staff at the Cairo gate were friendly to assist with loading for connecting. the airline is terrible. The few kind people care about their jobs and care for people especially the people for the cairo bound flight at the gate. They waited for us and assisted my elderly mother with her wheelchair. The vueling airport staff assisting with wheel chair transfer were stopping every minute for a chat despite our desparet requests to be assisted and forwarded were ignored. They could not understand plain English and simply ignored our desparation. The transfer wheel chair staff simply warned that we are being rude when desparately requesting to transfer by wheel chair to the next gate urgently. we were then told further to this the connecting flight luggage would not be forwarded since we booked via a 3rd party booking site. So this involved going to collect the luggage on the carousel and checking in again at the Vueling barcelona last minute check in desk. the ladies on duty including the manageress told me to take a hike (that is putting it politely) Begging for other help options simply made them more angry and dismissive. since with the check-in closed and no option left but to run through the airport with suitcases. The staff simply did not explain how to quickly collect your luggage for connections. Since the highest priority for anyone is to look after their elderly parent requiring wheel chair assistance was to get to the gate. Then after to collect luggage. The subsequent explanation at the late checkin desk is that i must miss the flight and my waiting mother at the gate is not their problem and hence refusing my luggage to be checked in left me desparate. I then ran through the passport control with 2 large suitcases and found the airplane ready to leave. The stress was unbearable. The experience would be worse if not for the decent people at the gate for the cairo bound flight including the flight crew who waited for my elderly parent. We would have lost all forward Cairo connecting flights and incur costs of accomodation in Barcelona. Then after the real prospect of organising our way back home. the airline then did not inform the ground crew in Cairo about a wheel chair passenger so we waited longer. The suitcases were then collected with damage and no clear instruction where they can collected. feedback is given with a sincere wish for a change of practices. customer service is minimal and based on few people with kindness. I also wish that no one experiences the agony we felt. Since the basics are firstly communication, the flight crew refused to pass the request that since the airline was late from Basel we urgently ask for notification for forward vueling flights instead they all shrugged their shoulders. It is also like they didnt want to speak English. I suggest never flying the airline. In my parents own words a real disgrace.

Customer service is awful

Vueling cancelled our flight the morning of the flight so no notice. They provided no alternative and we had to re book using Easy Jet which costs us e500.00. We had another Vueling flight for Paris to Dublin which we arrived at by way easy jet after the desk was closed - we had valid tickets to fly but the airline would not allow us on despite the fact that the plane didn’t leave for another 25 minutes and the ramp remained connected - we were offered no alternative and had to take a taxi to Charlie’s de Gaul and fly aer Lingus at our expense again. Awful experience - race to the bottom
