Dallas-based Southwest Airlines (IATA: WN; ICAO: SWA) is the world's largest low-cost carrier. Southwest operates non-stop flights to more than 100 destinations across 10 countries. Unlike many major airlines, Southwest does not use hubs, but rather a point-to-point system. About 15 airports with a significant amount of WN flights have been designated as focus cities. The airline's fleet is configured with just an Economy Class cabin. In contrast to many low-cost carriers, Southwest does not charge a fee for up to two checked bags; non-alcoholic drinks and pretzels or peanuts are also free on board. Early boarding access, automatic online check-in and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.

Mia in customer service is truly the best. I missed my flight the day before. She helped re-book for the following morning. Her customer services that got me truly amazed, is how she handled explaining to meet on the extra fee that I need to pay 2 bag fee. Ok my reactions was rude. Just like flying Spirit or Frontier

Southwest is more like Spirit or Frontier now. No plugs in the seat and not much legroom. If flight are more expensive now, at least make the journey more comfortable and convenient

Disrespecting Veteran Customers

I have never felt so disrespected by an organization.
Checked in and got nothing but rude remarks as we asked why the mobile check in split my wife and I by 61 boarding positions.
Never offered pre boarding for this veteran who just had hip surgery.
Called customer service and the lady on the phone was rude. She kept talking while I was trying to explain the situation and when I asked her name, she hung up on me.
I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor over the whole situation… still have not heard back.
Our business will no longer fly Southwest.
My family will no longer fly Southwest.
I will tell this story for the rest of my life.
As a Combat Veteran… I have never felt so disrespected by staff that thinks they can get away with anything.

Do better SW airlines

Our flight was delayed and we had to sit for over two hours, with no service from the airline crew other than water. We boarded at 11:00am and it was 2:05 and still we weren’t offered a single snack. A lot of us had kids who were cranky and hungry and they wouldn’t even acknowledge that. The least they could have done was offer a small snack granted we have been sitting on the plane since 11:00 am. It’s lunch time and they could care less. Beyond frustrated we missed an appointment today which is the whole reason we were traveling. Do better southwest maybe if you would’ve offered a dry snack people wouldn’t be so hangry.

Southwest is Not Family-Friendly

Southwest has again proven to be horrendous with respect to family travel. Yet again, a minor child was issued a boarding spot completely separated from the parent. And yet again, when asked for assistance to correct the situation, the airline declined to correct the issue. Either lose a benefit and pay more or lose a child is the airline's inflexible position. You are a letter and two numbers, nothing more to this airline. Surely there are better alternatives out there.

There are no TVs and some flights don’t have charging for devices. Also internet isn’t free.
