Horrible Airline, To start we had a vacation in Costa Rica jet blue was our flight home. Started off horrible we were delayed and made to disembark the aircraft in Costa Rica for two hour due to other passengers being disruptive. Flight gets on its way and we make it to Florida two hours late and when we arrive our connecting flight has been cancelled due to “weather conditions”. When spirit and delta were still flying to our home destination! We were offered a return flight home 2 days later at the earliest with no accommodation due to it being cancelled for weather. When speaking with the ground supervisor Rodger Adam’s #04709, he explained that due to weather and other circumstances they didn’t have the flight crew to get us back to RDU. So technically that’s a staff issue not a weather issue right? In the mean time no other amenities are offered except a refund which totaled 197.00 for four people and 6 bags. When let alone we paid 65.00 per bag to fly! They refunded me 49.00 per passenger flight… which would not be enough to fly to Florida tomorrow if we wanted single tickets alone are 180. Over all if we weren’t held back in Costa Rica we would have been able to book a flight back home instead of having to rent a car and drive 12 hrs! Needless to say I will never fly with them again…. Additional charges for bags poor customer service and deceit regarding the cancellation, and of course the refund isn’t matching!

This airline used to stand apart from the US big three. I remember when you could check a bag for free. I remember when its customer service was exemplary. Now I sit here stuck on the tarmac at JFK due to inexplicable maintenance delays wondering what happened to that airline. A damn shame.

At June 13 the plane cancelled due to bad maintainance. Which meant 6 hours after scheduled departure we ended up in a hotel. No good options to reroute trip to Amsterdam. Meaning flight next day At June 14th they forgot to take the plane to the gate leading again to delay Most other planes also had delays

I have had a terrible experience with Jet Blue ever since my most recent flight with them in August 2023. Our flight was delayed by about 4 hours, with very inconsistent and inaccurate updates on the delays. My partner and I finally made it home, and researched Jet Blue's policy for delayed flights. We learned we were eligible for a $100 travel credit each and to get our meals during the delay reimbursed. The process of getting those travel credits was absolute hell, and took us hours on the phone and endless transfers and long holds and dropped calls. Finally we were told we had been issued the travel credits-I added them to my travel spreadsheet. We tried to get our meals reimbursed but we ended up giving up because it was too frustrating and we just kept being passed around and not helped. I went to use my credit today but could not find any evidence of it on the Jet Blue website or in my email. I tried to chat with a representative online but the chatbot gave me an error message. So I tried to call, and was told there was a shorter wait time to text with a representative. I chose that option, and was then told my wait time would be twice as long as the estimated call wait time. So I called back and was finally able to speak to a representative. Just when he was supposedly talking to another department to get the issues resolved, the call dropped. So now I am re-explaining the situation over text message. Jet Blue makes their travel credit system so incredibly frustrating and complicated that their advertised travel credits for delayed flights are only an option if you have many many hours to devote to waiting on hold and the patience of a monk. They intentionally make things so difficult that customers leave money on the table and cannot actually access these benefits.
