Finnair (AY) is the largest airline in Finland as well as the country's flag carrier. The airline has a hub at Helsinki Airport (HEL) and flies to about eight other destinations within Finland. Internationally, Finnair flies to about 80 destinations across Europe, Africa, Asia and North America. Finnair is a member of the oneworld alliance and also has codeshare agreements with about 10 non-alliance airlines. Its fleet includes some aircraft that are outfitted with only Economy Class seating and other planes with a three-cabin configuration (Business Class, Economy Comfort Class and Economy Class). Finnair operates a single lounge for premium passengers at Helsinki Airport.

The worst airline, you guys delay my flight from dubai and affect my itinerary then want me to pay extra to extend my flight back to dubai so my trip doesn't get affected because of unclear reason of delay!

Finnair is a monopoly, thieves and keep us hostages.

I recently had a disappointing experience with Finnair, particularly on their Oulu to Helsinki route. The ticket prices are exorbitant, often exceeding 400 Euros for a flight that lasts less than an hour. This pricing feels unjustifiable, especially given the lack of in-flight services. The overall service quality was subpar, with minimal offerings on board, and the staff's attitude left much to be desired. It's clear that Finnair holds a monopoly on this route, which likely contributes to the poor service and high prices. Additionally, reaching customer service was a frustrating ordeal. Phone wait times exceeded an hour, and the chat service was even worse, with delays of up to three hours. This level of customer support is unacceptable and adds to the overall negative experience. In summary, my experience with Finnair was highly unsatisfactory in every aspect, from pricing and service quality to customer support. I hope they take steps to improve, as the current state is far from acceptable.

Fine as long as you don’t like eating or drinking

The plane was clean and seemed quite modern and the staff were friendly. The worst thing was the food and drink -or lack of it. I don’t expect to only have one small meal after take off and a small breakfast on arrival on a 13 hour flight. Furthermore you were only allowed one small glass of wine, any further alcoholic drinks were charged at an extortionate fee. This is not satisfactory where you have already paid several hundred pounds for your ticket.
