Passengers flying in First Class have access to the airline's Alaska Lounge with locations 7 airports. On 25 April 2018, Alaska Airlines and Virgin America merged. The combined airline is known as Alaska Airlines. The combined fleet consists of Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, and Embraer aircraft.

Avoid this airline
Los Angeles - AnchorageDomestic
As someone originally from Alaska that has to fly Alaska airlines for a direct flight from California, it’s incredibly disappointing how far this airline has fallen. From the rude, unhelpful, and careless staff to cramped, budget-style planes with zero legroom, the experience is consistently frustrating. Customer service is lacking at every level, and it feels like they’re just cutting corners wherever possible. I actively avoid flying Alaska Airlines and recommend others do the same. Do better.

WORST FIRST CLASS EXPERIENCE EVER
San Diego - New York CityDomestic
First class alaska airlines is by far the biggest rip off. There are no TVS. No service. Not even bottled water or pillows given out. Seats barely recline. For first class?! The attendant's are unprofessional. The service was awful. 700$ first class ticket for an economy experience

Best airline.
Los Angeles - CancunMexico
I had a great experience with this airline! The flight attendants were very friendly, and they even gave my son a cool badge, which he loved!

Consistent Delays
Seattle - AlbuquerqueDomestic
I have been continuously pissed at Alaska Airlines ability to have on time flights that go off without a hitch. A light was flickering and mantinence stalled us up for an hour at least. I do electrical engineering, I can fix anything like that in minutes. But it's not just these specific case. Most flights have been difficult and long and lack an sort of efficiency whatsoever. Why must we be delayed continuously. You would think the more technology we develop, the better the experience would be, but in fact it is the opposite.

COMPASSION FROM A COMPLETE STRANGER
San Diego - PortlandDomestic
While waiting to board my flight home after just losing my sister, I was talking to a fellow passenger, sharing stories and I was crying about my loss. Duane (the gate agent) asked me what was wrong. Giving him the story, he hugged me and had genuine compassion. When I landed in Portland, one of the stewardess asked "Are you Penny" I said yes, she handed me this little bag of meats, cheeses and treats accompanied with a note from the whole crew. IT MEANT THE WORLD. What a great thing they did. Truly amazing. thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Check the specific plane you're flying on. Supposedly Alaska has a reputation for good legroom, but not the case for the planes I was on.
