The fifth-largest airline in the United States, Seattle-based Alaska Airlines (IATA: AS; ICAO: ASA) flies to more than 100 destinations in the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Canada. As the name implies, it's a major carrier in the state of Alaska, flying to about 20 large and small destinations throughout the state. However, the airline has a major presence serving destination on the West Coast of the United States of America. Aircraft operate with two classes of service: First Class and Main Cabin (Economy Class). Passengers flying in First Class have access to the airline's Alaska Lounge with locations 7 airports. On 25 April 2018, Alaska Airlines and Virgin America merged. The combined airline is known as Alaska Airlines. The combined fleet consists of Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, and Embraer aircraft.
