I read some bad reviews, but my experience was great. The food was what you would expect on any airline service, and plentiful at that. The selection of movies, tv shows, games, and music was extensive with plenty of international options. The staff was courteous and professional. I had two over-night layovers in Beijing and the airline provided me with...

Everything was good . The ground service was very quick and uneventful. The craft large enough, very clean, the stuff helpful and polite. My request for special meals was executed absolutely. Only the entertainment device was old fashioned and poor in options. The food was good. Moreover, the seat was extremely comfortable with enough space for the legs. It was...

flying internationally with two kids for the first time. Flight attendants where great with the kids, creating small paper animals for the kids to paly with. Movies on any Chinese Aircraft are very limited and old due to the controls by the Government. Food was ok, nothing special..

Be prepared to arrive at the airport early, as you will not be able to book your seats through their fast check-in counter, if they only have emergency seats left for you. There are movies to watch on the flight, but then only on top of selected seats, as not every seat comes with a movie screen. Food wise, it...

We booked a last minute Air China flight from Melbourne > Shanghai and Beijing > Melbourne because the price ($490pp) was too good to pass up! We weren't expecting much but were pleasantly suprised. The aircraft was fairly modern, the leg room was the same as any other major international airline, there was seat back entertainment with a limited selection...

In the next few weeks I will be taking my 3rd flight with Air China in a year (London-Beijing-Chiang Mai) because totally satisfied with this company. Fantastic cabin crew, edible food, at least 2 good recent movie choices per flight, toilets kept clean throughout flight, with arrival times within 20 minutes of schedule. I fly economy so expect economy standards,...

I usually like to fly CA because of smaller aircraft and not so busy crew. But in the recent flight from Warsaw to Taipei via Beijing I was surprised by their poor effort towards passengers. Especially the poor food they offered for the trans-continental flight-this should bury them deep for the Chinese market, where this is one of serious demands.

The airline was fine and as comfortable as can be expected for a 12 hour flight. The food is decent and they have enough movies and TV shows to keep passengers entertain during the flight.

Flying to Auckland for a weekend looked at the options finding this was the best way to go, included in the airfare, food, luggage and on board entertainment. This was well in compassion with the budget flyers at this time of the year. One minor complaint most New Zealanders know this cheapie and the plane was full of families and...

Regarding some others opinion I read about this company, I didn't expect much for sure. I first flew from Geneva to Beijing, then Beijing to Bangkok. I slept the major part of the flight, so I only got one meal. I couldn't really judge about the service. The seat was not very confortable. On the flight back to Geneva, the...
