Not much room between seats... very minimal leg room. On both flights the entertainment system was unavailable and this was for a 12 hour flight!!! It made the journey tedious. The staff were excellent. They were courteous, professional and very helpful. The staff are a credit to tge airline.

Fifteen of us, on tour with “Quest Destinations”, on a group ticket travelled from Colombo to Chengdu on 2nd June 2018. You have to present your ticket when entering the departure terminal. Others who wish to enter the departure lobby need to purchase an entry ticket – Rs 300.00 per person. All luggage passing into the departure lobby area are...

I guess you get what you pay for. I love visiting China, however I do not like the long flight from Brisbane. I know it is my fault, because I need to break it up via Hong Kong or Singapore. This was a particularly turbulent flight. It went on, in pockets for hours. I know it is not the fault...

Air China lost our luggage for 4 days over New Year and did very little to help locate it. They wouldn't even give us any compensation and tried to blame the ground staff for their inability for correctly label our bags. Thus we wasted money on toiletries and clothes for 5 days and received no compensation. The onboard the food was...

The flight attendants were super accommodating. Ample seating space and leg room. The meal service was above average for airplane food. Good wine and spirits menu. Very good experience.

I thought for the price I paid, the flight was superb value for money. The London to Beijing leg was especially good (on our return flight I believe we got a very new plane). The Beijing to Manila leg was a bit rubbish as had no real in flight entertainment but we were prepared for this. The food is not...

I have travelled with Eastern Chinese Airlines and found a big difference. The first stretch from Australia to Beijing was not comfortable, squashed space and appalling entertainment system. To be able to view movies required expertise in manipulating 2 buttons (tab & enter) totally archaic! the choice of movies offered was pitiful! and lack diversity to be offered to international...

Be careful with tight transfer time in case you have a connecting flight, and bring a strong carrier, since the baggage transfer is not well handled. in flight service is good. but sometimes the crew at transfer process is not helpful
