Bumped from an AirNZ flight 777 to a 737 Virgin due to fog issues. There is a huge difference between flights both service and comfort. 737s don't handle turbulence like the larger planes so we bounced our way across and the Virgin staff treat you relative to how much you have paid or the seat you are in. Very offhand...

On my Melboune-Hobart trip I was annoyed about how long I had to stand in line to check my bag, especially since the reason I needed to check my bag was that Virgin allows only a total of 7kgs cabin baggage (Qantas allows up to 2x 7kg bags). On my Canberra-Melbourne trip a few days earlier I was very annoyed...

Although travel on this airline is with no hassle, I was appalled when our connecting flight from Brisbane to Denpasar was 3 hrs late. There was no apology from the crew aboard, as if it was nothing unusual. We had to leave home at 3 am on the day of our flight to reach Tullamarine at 4 am, leave our...

Good assistance at drop bags kiosk which makes our check-in fast. Crew are nice. Noticed no priority boarding for seniors or families with small children. Flight was bumpy due to heavy rain but the crew kept us updated with the situation which was comforting. Only one -ve feedback was the unloading of baggage. Our bags were unloaded under heavy rain...

Although the checkin line was long it moved very quickly. Virgin was the only airline running to schedule on a day when high winds at destination meant others were running really late. Had some turbulence but the pilot kept us informed and we all felt comfortable despite the weather. The cabin staff were also excellent and I would not hesitate...

On all the flights to prosperine my husband and I were not allocated seats together which was bazar and we had booked and played on the same credit card . We asked to be seated together but people changing seats to have a sleep seemed to get preference. Snacks were generally...

My wife and I travelled on the 8.55am Melbourne to Cairns flight back in late May and as usual with Virgin was excellent in every way. On time departure and arrival and the on board crew were very attentive. We travelled economy and found the seats reasonably comfortable. Thoroughly recommend Virgin.

I’m giving Virgin a big high five! Thanks for curing my 5yo son’s flying anxiety with great customer care. Little Xavier was on the 26th flight of his life but still hated flying. We have tried everything to try and ease his anxiety but nothing seemed to help. On his flight to Brisbane he threw up everywhere (on an opposition...

For the red eye from Perth to Sydney not a bad flight tidy service and nice people. Easy automated checkin with staff there to help silly old buggers like me with the bag tagging

Minimal flight delays, service was excellent and there seemed to be more leg room than on past flights.
