After MANY 9 hr long overnight bus rides to Chiapas from Oaxaca (and at least 3 road trips in my van) being able to fly to Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas seems like a gift from the gods! Going to Oaxaca airport - dumping my luggage (they seem lenient as long as your first bag is under-weight) and then going to have...

United put me on Aeromar from Mexico City to Guadalajara. It was a small plane ATR42-320 a 40 seater propeller aircraft. I was a bit apprehensive as it had been over a decade since I flew in a non jet aircraft. Surprisingly it was quite comfortable with a unobstructed view since the wings were mounted above the fuselage. The service...

It seemed too good to be true - a flight for a fraction of the price of a bus ride. And it was. Apparently they do fly occasionally, but I'm not sure how one could gauge that. Reviews said they cancel flights, but I thought we would try. Sure enough, we were left scrambling to get on the last bus...

Over the Christmas holidays, my 17 yr-old daughter had the misfortune to have to fly with this crummy airline. They were late on one of her flights, that caused her to missed her last connecting flight to Acapulco, where she was to start her holidays. Even though, it was their fault, her flight was delayed, she ultimately missed her connecting...

We have nothing negative to say about this airline. Gosh this is a budget airline that has new modern airplanes (yes they have propellers but in this case that is a good thing). The seats actually recline, they serve free snacks and drinks and , in our case were exactly on time. Check in and boarding were perfect. The ATR42...

This airline is a joke.. Took an American Airlines flight with a reservation from Aeromar fully paid to fly from Tucson to Culiacán Mexico. I get to Tucson and ask a delta agent and a police officer where the aeromar counter is to check in and they both looked at me like I was nutts. Both informed me that service...

Four of us did a day trip from Cancun to Merida and back on December 29th 2017. We had read many poor reviews about Aeromar and had even contemplated driving. The flight (via BestDay.com) cost us USD 95 each for the return flights for a total of USD 380. Some other airlines wanted to charge as much as USD 400...
