Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Can't rate this airline enough. The flight was cancelled 2 days in a row, however, they gave us first class treatment in Glasgow airport whilst we waited for a flight to be available. Hotel, breakfast, 3 course dinner. It was like being on holiday whilst waiting for our holiday. They responded to an email within 30 min and changed our return flight to a later time for free, giving us back a little of the time we lost in the beginning. Here is a company that could teach every other airline what amazing customer service is 😊…

Appalling! Cancelled flight, no reimbursement for plans, rude and in-human responses (finally). Delayed second flight and no apology or explanation. Could this be the worst airline? AVOID and take the train!

Response from LoganairCR, Customer Relations at Loganair

We are sorry for any disruption caused to your journey due to the change in our operating schedule. I can see you have been in touch with our Customer Relations Team, who have advised that there are times when it is necessary to amend our flying programme and, in accordance with the UK retained legislation arising from EC261/2004, we will endeavour to contact passengers as soon as possible to advise of any changes to their reserved flights. In line with our Conditions of Carriage agreed to at the time of booking and the UK retained legislation arising from EC261/2004, the airline has no liability for any other cost you may deem required by the change to your travel plans. We respectfully suggest contacting your travel insurance provider, which you may have arranged before your trip. I can again confirm that on the day, your flight incurred a delay due to airport restrictions on a previous sector(flight). While this delay was out of our control, I would like to reiterate our Customer Relations earlier apologies for the delay.

We expected small but this was really small, no leg room, even walking down the aisle you had to tuck your head down. It was made worse by their offer of a single biscuit for the flight snack. Very disappointed since it a part of the British Airways family, had higher hopes for it.…

Response from LoganairCR, Customer Relations at Loganair

Hi, The routes operated by Loganair can’t sustain the larger aircraft operated by other carriers, and the smaller prop/jet aircraft of the type we fly is the only viable option for the routes to be maintained. Unlike other carriers operating larger aircraft types who also charge for this service, we are limited to the available space on board when offering our complimentary service. However, we continually review our offerings to ensure we can offer our customers the best possible experience.

TLDR - I had a flight from Rome to Inverness booked with KLM and it got screwed up. KLM fixed this using flights from Logan Air. The flight attendant was ridiculous - I wasn't allowed to have a blanket on for take off and landing even though no airline has ever stopped me from doing this (I was freezing - I was in shorts and a t-shirt - long story). When I arrived in Inverness, my suitcase did not. I filed a claim and told them my suitcase was in Glasgow (I had a tracker in my bag). I was supposed to arrive in Inverness on Aug 29. I arrived Aug 30. My checked suitcase didn't arrive until Sept 3 and when it did arrive, it was damaged. The maximum Logan Air would give me for 5 days without my case was 75 pounds (completely unrealistic, even shopping at cheap stores). This worked out to about $117 CDN, for which they then charged me a $17 transfer fee! They then referred my baggage claim to another branch of their company with a totally different name but this was not clear to me. The employees at this branch could not deduce that someone in Vancouver, Canada would be in a different time zone than the UK (I was home at this point) and called me at 2:00 am and 5:00 am in the morning. Absolutely terrible and ridiculous. Given an option, I will never fly with them again.…

I am sorry to hear that you feel the service from Loganair has fallen short of what you had expected. We cannot address all of your concerns here as we have no flight or booking details; however, you can contact us via our help centre using the link below, and we can conduct further investigations. https://www.loganair.co.uk/travel-help/contact-the-help-centre/ I would like to apologise on behalf of Loganair for the delay with your baggage. Despite our very best efforts to avoid this type of occurrence, where there is a mixture of manual and mechanical labour, unfortunately such incidents can happen, although only to a small percentage of the baggage carried on our flights. Customers are offered an allowance of £25 per bag per day for a maximum of three days towards reimbursement for essential items purchased, which is in line with guidance provided by the Civil Aviation Authority and the Citizens Advice Bureau. Our policies must be implemented fairly and consistently for all our customers, ensuring a continuity of service. We respectfully suggest that any additional costs be submitted to your travel insurer should this have been taken out for your journey.
