I've reviewed this airline as poor, solely because of the £547.27 return price for the two of us. This inc. for each of us, a 20kg suitcase, a 6kg on board bag and a smaller on board bag also. We also got a complimentary snack/drink.....which obviously sealed the deal for that

Response from JamesH9541, Customer Relations at Loganair

We are sorry you feel this way about our service. With the cost of two pilots on our aircraft, two engines to overhaul and having to contend with fuel prices in the Islands being up to 3 times more than on the mainland combined with a higher risk of weather disruption it’s not hard to see how the costs add up. That’s before you consider that airlines travelling internationally can fly their aircraft for 12-16 hours every day – often, when the airports to which we fly are closed. All Loganair fares also include checked baggage fees, free seat allocation and complimentary on board service where you potentially pay a lot more for this with another carrier. We believe that we offer the best value possible given the major constraints we face. We do appreciate the comments regarding the service from our crew. We pride ourselves on delivering a friendly and professional service and I will pass your comments over to our engineering department regarding the clarity of the announcements from the flight deck for further investigation.

The flight to Kirkwall is delightful. One row has one seat, the other has two. The last row has four seats. Although a quick flight, we were given a snack - a drink and a sealed biscuit. On leaving Kirkwall, the security was exceptionally tight, it was impressive.

Great staff, very attentive and the flight was bang on time for departure and nearly 10 minutes early for arrival, you can't get better than that! Complimentary drinks and snacks were served on-board and the staff couldn't be faulted. I will definitely fly with Loganair again.

We flew with Loganair from Manchester to Inverness this week. Loganair operates an Embraer 145 on this route, one of their larger aircraft. Check in was a bit chaotic due to luggage. We were three and had a bags weighing 19kg, 19kg and 23kg. We knew we were overweight, and
