Bought a thrifty to Auckland 28th May to 31st May to see new Grandson. Returned a positive COVID test even with the 30 dollar insurance cover I was unable to transfer tickets as I found out air chathams uses a third party insurer who also were not happy with the result of my RAT test and wanted me to break isolation and go get a PCR at a cost of $90 dollars I basically gave up and now need to warn others of the scam that is Chatham airlines . I will never fly Chatham airlines again I advise others to think seriously about the ramifications should you get ill this company clearly does not give a hoot, Goodbye Chatham Airlines…

Flight out on a 32 seat Saab 340, returned on their ATR 72 did have a technical issue on the way out so had to return but arrived only a couple of hours late, other than that smooth flight, very helpful and friendly check in staff and flight crew. Happy to support a small private airline that stepped in to replace services no longer provided by Air New Zealand. Only fly to the island two days a week and weather plus technical issues can mean a degree of unreliability.…

Have taken the flight from Auckland to Paraparaumu numerous times and it would be nice if the flight could leave on time occasionally. To date the success rate has been around 20%

The service for my Son's trip from Auckland to Whakatane was exceptional. His flight into Auckland from Chicago was delayed, I called from London after hours to let the team know, and they were so accommodating. Definitely not the level of service you get from larger airlines any more - well done Emma for doing such a great job!!…

I booked a return trip from Norfolk Island to Auckland - New Zealand and was just so impressed by this little can do Kiwi airline. Staff were so wonderful, nothing was a problem from check in at Norfolk Island right through to ground staff at Auckland International 10 out of 10. Plane was on time, flight was a little over two hours. I highly recommend Air Chathams and hope more local Norfolk Islanders and New Zealanders support this international flight, whilst the Saab plane is small the advantage is no lines at check in or delays boarding or exiting the aircraft and very friendly efficient service all round.…
