Could not have felt more welcome by the people that own and run the B and B. Nothing was a trouble. The lady owner was very likeable spending lots of time chatting with us. An elegant property in a stunning setting, yet still felt like a home away from home. The bed was the best slept in for years.

This accommodation is the perfect venue for so many types of stay. Terri is a brilliant hostess and the environs , and ambience are exquisite. The linen is luxurious and everything is so cared for and loved. The house and garden reflect this. Perfect in so many ways.

We had arranged a lovely high tea here for a friends birthday as it looked lovely and something different than a hotel high tea. Two of my friends were greeted with Warwick shouting and cursing on the front step as they had parked not to his liking (slightly on the grass and over a drain). Totally changed the mood of the afternoon and one of my friends left, we should all have. I talked to him about how it was inappropriate to speak to guests in that way and he swore at me and walked off. So unprofessional and disgusting. On the other hand Kerry was lovely and the food was delicious but we will not be back. Such a shame.

Lovely pastoral setting with hosts that make you feel like a favoured long-lost relative. Our only and very minor complaint: in warm weather, with the windows open, there is a bit of constant "white noise" from the motorway.

After many hours flying and navigating Auckland's road works I arrived here wrung out. Terry's delightful father was there to greet me and get me settled and we then sat down with a welcome cuppa and had a very enjoyable chat. I had decided not to bother to go out and eat. However, Terry's suggestion of a bacon sandwich proved irresistible whilst I sat and watched the rugby. Lovely accommodation and great breakfast but the warmth of the welcome was what sets it apart from other B&Bs. Just a shame I could only stay one night. Thank you for such a great start to my month in NZ.

Well driving down the drive way you new you were in for something special. The hosts Warwick & Terri were friendly and great hosts made you feel at home in their home. We stayed in the Loft at the top of the building, with windows looking out on the main driveway, and also looking out the bathroom window at night time at the stars was something out of a fairy tale book. Room was cleaned to an excellent standard, linen was great, and that big bed oh so comfy great nights sleep. Bathroom was well stocked with lots of nice goodies to use. It was great to catch up with other guests at breakfast time, and have a good chat about life. The breakfast was of good quality, Well done Warwick. We defiantly will be back to stay and to see if Warwick has finished the rooms outside as planed. It was a little bit over our budget, but was worth every cent, as it was our last night in New Zealand.…

I stayed here for a weekend (2 nights) after spending a week working in Auckland. I wanted an escape to the country, and got that. I was in the "Gite" which was amazing. Lots of space, beautifully decorated, with a garden in which I could sit out and enjoy the quiet. Terri was an excellent host, and the other guests I met were great too! And as a cat lover I was pleased to meet Louis and Lulu. If I come back to Auckland I will for sure try and stay here again, and recommend it to all my friends.

Room Tip:I'm sure all are good, but the Gite where I stayed was excellent, and has its own garden area.

We stayed in the outside studio room. Decor very busy and somewhat cluttered for my liking. Four poster bed was comfortable but I prefer not to have the canopy. TV in room not able to pick up any channels - not connected to aerial. Toaster not working, however replaced by host. Ambient surroundings, pleasant hosts and nice breakfasts in friendly atmosphere. Good wifi connection.

out of the way and secluded. driving down a long driveway the house looked awesome. the welcome by Warrick and his wife Kerry was warm and friendly. once inside, the decor was also warm and subtle. our room was nice and clean, tidy and the bed was comfy.the shower was as good as our's back home.everything was in the bathroom that you could need, quality shampoo, conditioner and dare i say it, good bog roll.not the single ply stuff. at $240 for the night my partner and I both agreed it was good value, considering we're the budget type,it was at the top of our budget but worth it when considering the accomodation, the grounds the breakfast and the relaxed owners.A full english breakfast, with eggs cooked to perfection, and if that didn't satisfy, there was also cereals, yoghurts and fruit with yoghurt topping. great place to crash. just the 2 downside's If you were going to stay for the week there wasn't a set of drawers to put your smalls socks etc in.also the room we had was next to another and you could hear their shower. but not a biggy for us. we would stay here again without a doubt. Thanks to Kerry and Warrick's welcome.excellent.…

Our stay was extremely relaxing and our hosts friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and perfectly timed after watching All Blacks v Ireland in Dublin with Warrick and the two cats. If there was chance to return I would.
